In Stephen's dream, Jules loves escalators.

  • Episode 1: "Why Is This Real?"
    • Stephen's dream of the entire TRG collabing in a "Don't Fear the Reaper" cover and Emile on cowbell. Tom thinks it makes a good bumper idea for a future Colosseum.
    • While discussing ringtones, Stephen recounts when He-Man's memetic "Fabulous Secret Powers" tune blared through his car's speaker at full volume when a call came in.
  • Episode 2: "Happy Birthday, Jerod!"
    • While discussing allergies, Jon brings up a relevant story involving Tom, and Tom at first isn't sure which one he means, at which point Jon reveals it's the one where he 'almost died', leading to confusion from the chat that Tom didn't remember that.
    • Much of the episode ends up being devoted to Stephen and Jerod swapping stories of violent incidents involving Southern fast food restaurants.
    • After a related discussion about different regions of North America locking/not locking doors by habit, a poll is issued on which of the four streamers' houses the chat would try to break into. Jon belatedly realises that the recording has captured him voting for Jerod's.
  • Episode 3: "Third Time's A Charm"
    • In the previous episode, Stephen and Jerod talked about a controversial pit stop on the I-95 called South of the Border, which subsequently led to the podcast being mentioned on the attraction's Wikipedia article. note  In this episode, Tom mentions the situation in passing during his intro.
Tom: I'm Tom Fawkes, and we can't talk about South of the Border anymore.
    • The guys discuss the infamous hashtag for Pokémon Masters EX, #pokemonmastersex. Tom likes to imagine how the board room must've reacted to such an Accidental Innuendo.
Tom: Oh good, it's trending! (sudden realization) Oh no, it's trending...
    • The entire "boob timeline" discussion, which begins when Stephen asks if Jon has a timeline for all the female alt art of him. And then Jon says there are three (specifically for a female streamer named Electron Jen, one for Pon-Pon, and one for RosaJon).
Stephen: Why are there three boob timelines, Jon?
    • Since both Jon and Jerod have specific alts drawn for them by their fans (Jon has female alts, while Jerod gets fursonas), Stephen pitches an idea for what Tom could be drawn as: various household appliances (likely as a reference to Tom being revealed as Lord Dona'tor in the first Colosseum). In retaliation, Tom tells everyone to draw Stephen as common houseplants, and by the end of the podcast, both of them end up getting a truckload of fresh fanart from the community.
    • Stephen's dream in which Tom agrees to fill in for him to play Morning Mario... only for Tom to be in snowboarding gear and giving out snowboarding tips in the video he recorded for Stephen. As Stephen inquires about it, Tom told him that he took a few liberties. This was later made into a bumper for The Runaway Guys Colosseum 2022.
    • A question comes up about instances in games that made them get mad and Jerod mentions the river rapids segment from Paper Mario: The Origami King. Tom proceeds to tell the chat to not tell Jerod that he managed to clear it first try... only for the chat to out him very quickly.
  • Episode 4: "Spooky Time!"
    • The guys talk about giving drug-like street names for cereal after Jerod confesses that his favorite snack is cereal.
Tom: Could we come up with street names for each brand of cereal, please?
      Jerod: Bro, yeah!
Stephen: Could we? Yes. Should we? I don't know.
      Jon: Will we? Yes.
  • Episode 5: "It's Talking Time!"
    • The episode starts fairly normal and simple, so they redo the opening. Then Tom says "Stephen!" instead of his own name, prompting another redo!
    • The discussion of the "Outback Stabhouse", a restaurant where you pay for the food by being stabbed. Stephen tries to convince Jon that it is a viable business model.
      • By the end of the stream, it is discovered that someone bought the domain Outbackstabhouse.com, which redirects to the Podcast's Stitcher.
  • Episode 6: "Marcy Kramble, Everyone!"
    • The conversation still keeps coming back to Outback Stabhouse, not least because the chat's fanart keeps featuring it.
    • Stephen brings up that, similar to Jon's 'three boob timelines' he has 'two grandpa timelines', because Alex was already calling him Grandpa in college for retelling the same stories multiple times, before the nickname came up again in connection with his inexperience with Twitch.
  • Episode 7: "New Year, Still Talking About Restaurants"
    • Stephen pledged before the episode not to talk about restaurant violence this time... but evidently nobody told Jon before he made the episode's subtitle.
    • Tom hatched a diabolical scheme in one of Stephen and Mal's Breath of the Wild streams a few days earlier, convincing Stephen's chat to gaslight him into believing the Philadelphia Broncos and Seattle Mudcrabs, two teams Stephen had just made up, were actually real (minor) sports teams. He reveals his ploy during the podcast, much to Stephen's surprise.
    • This leads to a discussion about the real "Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp" sports team, who (as multiple people point out) have a shrimp mascot that looks strikingly similar to Trogdor from Homestar Runner. Meanwhile, the chat fanartists produce multiple logos for Stephen and Tom's fictional teams.
    • As part of a Secret Santa done with Colosseum members, Jon was given three presents: two for himself, and one for Rosajon. The gift for Rosajon? A size 34N bra.
    • The Running Gag of "GO COCKS!".
    • Jerod shares some Picky Eater stories, leading to a disagreement over whether he or Stephen would "motorboat a chicken".
  • Episode 8: "The One With All the Anniversaries"/"The One On Groundhog Day"
    • The Running Gag of Jon replaying the intro, sometimes stopping in the middle. Not only does Stephen freak out, Dan even calls Jon out for it when he slips it in after the outro!
    • Stephen's Skewed Priorities story about risking his car being drowned in a flash flood due to the lure of S H R I M P (as the chat puts it).
    • Jon's fans talked up the fact that the stream ended up on Rosajon's second anniversary for weeks in advance, then Jon trolled them by barely bringing it up on the stream (other than showing fanart).
  • Episode 9: "All in the FamilyJules"
    • Jules' rendition of "Will The Circle Be Unbroken", incorporating topics discussed in the episode (torsion and elbowism), and Jon's attempts to sing along.
  • Episode 11: "Rise of the Robots, But Not the SNES Game"/"Dreams Only"
    • Tom's story that he asked his Siri for directions to a Walmart, only for it to then start reading out a creepy and graphic fanfiction story instead.
    • Meanwhile, Jerod once did the same when going to a restaurant and insulted Siri for not having helpful directions, only for it to send him to a graveyard instead, which he interpreted as an implied threat.
    • The Contrived Coincidence that both Tom and Stephen have had dreams involving Martha Stewart being and/or fighting a dragon.
  • Episode 12: "Murder Gym... This Week On Shark Tank Week"/"Murder Gym"
    • Tom comments how his dog, Manatee, surprisingly didn't have any bad responses to 4th of July fireworks, though notes how that may be bad because it also means he won't respond if someone ever shoots Tom with a gun. Stephen... reassures him.
Stephen: You'll say something. You'll say, "Excuse me, Manatee, I have been shot, I need you to call an ambulance." And he'll say, "Oh, you're right."
Tom: I mean, that's the translated version. The literal version would be: (pained choking sound)
      • Said pained choking sound is decided to be written as "A". Just the one letter.
    • Jon, Tom, and Jerod begin a long conversation about superheroes, particularly Batman. Stephen eventually tries to get involved after a Beat.
Stephen: I watched... the Batman movie, once.
Jon, Tom, and Jerod: (at the same time) Which one?
Stephen: Oh GOD NO, THEY GOT ME!
    • It takes until the end of the episode for them to realize they never got into the story that spawned the episode name. They decide to leave it for next month.
  • Episode 13: "You Had Toast"
    • As Stephen recently had his long pandemic hair cut at last, much of the talk revolves around haircuts. Tom complains he can never describe what he wants to his hairdresser, so Stephen suggests he look up pictures online of examples to show them. Being Stephen, he describes this "just type in 'people's heads'", which the others interpret as something that would get them put on a government watchlist.
    • They never explain Murder Gym... nor do they explain the title of this episode.
  • Episode 14: "Sleep on the Floor for Comfort"
    • Stephen shares another recent dream, this one featuring the TRG Colosseum crew touring Wal-Marts and FamilyJules becoming overly excited by the concept of riding an escalator, an artist's interpretation of which is the image for this page. Like the "I Took A Few Liberties Dream", this was also made into a bumper for 2022's Colosseum.
    • After Tom catches his dog Manatee trying to eat a copy of Brain Age, fanartists portray him as a version of the polygonal Dr Kawashima head, creeping Tom out.
Manatee: FATHER. I HAVE CONSUMED KNOWLEDGE.
    • After another fanartist uses an Instagram photo of Stephen looking angry at an airport as the basis for a caption meme, Stephen complains that Google Image Search has decided that random photo is the one that comes up first.
    • Jerod attempts to complain that Weather.com is hard to navigate, only for the others to try it and find it has been rendered far more user-friendly since it was taken over by IBM...FIVE YEARS AGO, rather deflating Jerod's point.
  • Episode 15: "Mondays, Am I Right?"
    • Stephen's chat insisted he discuss the concept of 'Shower Order' on the podcast, due to it supposedly being one of the things he does (according to implied comments by Mal) in a particularly neurotic and arbitrary way. This rapidly backfires, as it turns out that the way Jerod takes showers (including browsing his phone for up to an hour while in there) is seen as weirder by everyone.
    • Tom proposes a hypothetical airline where you could be frozen in carbonite like in Star Wars and not experience the flight, but end up being blind for an hour afterwards. Stephen modifies this to an airline that will chloroform you at the check-in desk so you're not conscious for the flight, and it's then suggested this become another branch of the Outback Stabhouse franchise.
    • The Kingdom Hearts franchise is discussed, and Stephen explains that due to his goldfish-like memory, he is fully capable of watching videos explaining the notoriously complex plot whilst still being able to potentially play it blind later. This serves as a Chekhov's Gun for...
    • At the end, Stephen finally explains 'Murder Gym' (much to Jon's displeasure, as he wanted to keep it going as a Running Gag) - it was something Stephen himself said three months ago and, being Stephen, has now long forgotten what it was all about.
  • Episode 16: "Substitute Grandpa"
    • Josh Jepson filled in for Stephen, so Jon replaced the icon of Stephen with just the text "Josh Jepson", which was later replaced with an outline of Groose that Jon slowly added facial features to as the episode went on.
  • Episode 17: "Grandpa's Back, No One Else Left"
    • Stephen returns after being absent the previous episode. He mentions that he listened to the previous episode, then got curious and listened to another one that he was in. He was apparently baffled by hearing himself speak, despite having been a vlogger and let's player for over a decade.
    • Tom mentions that he leaves videos on when going out so his dog, Manatee, doesn't get nervous from being alone. He's started using Stephen's Skyrim playthrough for this, and everyone wonders what Manatee will think when he actually meets Stephen.
Stephen: I'm gonna visit you sometime and he's gonna be like "Are you my real dad?"
Tom: Either that or he's gonna visit you and be like "You're the guy who's speaking whenever dad goes away!"
Stephen: "What have you done with my dad?!"
      Jerod: "Are you a ghost?"
    • Blink and you miss it, but Jerod comments that his wife Erika gets up early in the morning because she's "a craz- I mean, morning person".
    • Jerod recalls how he once got exactly 69,420 damage on an attack in Final Fantasy XIV, and was ecstatic.
    • Stephen starts stumbling over trying to figure out his relation to his wife Mal's sister's husband-to-be, and starts a ramble between himself and Tom. All of this is just for him to comment that they play Final Fantasy XIV. And after they finally figured it out, Mal texted Stephen with an explanation. Which starts with "Jesus."
    • Everyone talks for a bit about Vtubers and how complicated it is to get models for it. Stephen chimes in...
Stephen: If someone wants to do a Vtuber stream, and the Vtuber stuff is very expensive, might I suggest, and this idea's free... a sock puppet.
    • Later on in the episode, Stephen has a realization: if he wears a ski mask, he will become the sock puppet, thus becoming a Vtuber. He is incredibly baffled and in awe at this.
    • This bit (note that Tom lives in Texas):
Tom: The slogan for Texas is "Don't mess with Texas", but that's not the whole thing. The full slogan is "Don't mess with Texas, we'll cry."
    • Stephen describes his own very odd brand of being pee-shy: if the person at the urinal beside him leaves and someone else takes their place, he instantly becomes nervous and has to stop peeing, leave the bathroom, and wait for that person to leave so he can finish. Tom jokes that when this happens, going through Stephen's head is "This is not who I made the contract with."
    • For this episode, the innovation is introduced of the cartoon heads of the presenters lighting up on the screen as each one talks. Jon explains that one of his mods told him how to do this... in April, and he has only just got around to doing it at 4 am the previous day. This gets a Call-Back at the end when Dan speaks up, and sleep-deprived Jon gave him the giant orange word DAN flashing on screen, covering up most of the rest of them, every time he speaks.
  • Episode 18: 2022 With The Disc Only Crew
    • Stephen retells the recent story of him panickedly removing spilled hot chocolate from his cat Kepler's tail with his mouth, which starts a series of the others telling relevant pet stories.
    • A discussion about the past layout of Youtube leads to Stephen talking about his former channel backgrounds, in which he and Mal would dress up as their current LP. Via the Wayback Machine, a commenter finds one with a photoshopped Stephen as Kratos from God of War, which Tom (who usually describes on-screen content for the audio listeners and his own thumbnails have him do just that) claims must be seen to be believed.
    • Jon tells the story of when he had a friend design a business card for him for a con, and though the design was only OK, he went to have it printed...only to find his ex worked at the print shop. She then assured him she'd have it printed, only for (when he came back) to tell him she'd redesigned it first... and Jon much preferred her design and still uses parts of it in his branding. Multiple chat commenters state that this was not where they saw the story going!
  • Episode 20: The Post Colosseum Podcast
    • Jon is about ready to wrap up the episode, when Stephen brings up the subject of food opinions and extends it by half an hour. Firstly he wants to know what everyone's favourite sandwich order is, which Jon assumes is some kind of psychoanalysis that'll tell him something about them, but it turns out Stephen is just really, really interested in sandwiches.
Stephen: I just like to know what you want on your sandwich! I learned a good bit!
    • He and Mal also have a text argument in the chat about what Stephen's favourite sandwich is.
    • Then, on Tom and the chat's urging, Stephen brings up a topic he ranted about on Breakfast Stream earlier the same day - his conviction that all menus should have pictures, and ones that don't drive him into a rage.
Stephen: I could go half an hour about how upset I am that more places don't offer pictures on the menus because it takes you NO TIME MENTALLY to process what the picture is and what's gonna be included in the dish, than to read menu item after menu item listing ingredient after ingredient just to process that mentally and think "How many eggs and how many hash browns do I get with this thing?" JUST SHOW ME A DAMN PICTURE!
      (later)
Stephen: This is also a huge problem with sushi restaurants ... there's like a hundred different sushi rolls you can choose from and your eyes glaze over because they've listed "eel cucumber sauce" like sixty times and what is what, I don't know, just SHOW ME A PHOTO!
Tom: Stephen, I want to give you-
Stephen: WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY!
    • Jon replaced the giant orange DAN text that appears when Dan speaks with an edit of the "DISC ONLY PODCAST" title graphic where all of the letters disappear except the D, A, and N.
  • Episode 22: We've Got Nothing Going On This Month
    • After discussing what Sakurai should do after completing Smash Ultimate, Stephen suggests he makes a deliberately bad kart racing game where all the characters are advertising mascots from Pringles, cereal, etc. Except he also throws in William Howard Taft, Tony Blair and PewdiePie. Jon also throws in the bizarre concept of a (real) game he's played, 'Pulse Racer', in which characters can have heart attacks if they drive too fast.
  • Episode 23: A Guy of a Guest
    • As Jerod is unavailable, Chuggaaconroy guest stars. When they have a discussion about what you would do if you had access to Time Travel to an earlier point of your life, Chugga makes a heartfelt speech about better appreciating what his mom did for him as a single parent when he was young... and then ruins it by adding that it'd be either that, or going back to 2011 to stop Paper Mario: Sticker Star from being made.
    • Chugga and the others sharing stories about NintendoCapriSun's habit of leaving his business cards everywhere for viral marketing...including an incident when he accidentally had a massive package of ten thousand business cards sent to Chugga's house rather than his own.
    • The guys discuss the popularity in 2020 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons compared to its current decline. One of them had actually forgotten it altogether and didn't recognise the title 'New Horizons' when Chugga brings it up. Which one? Tom, who poured hundreds of hours into the game to game the system as 'the Turnip King' and became associated with it as a minor online celebrity as a result.
  • Episode 24: On Hand Besties and Buddies - Yeah!
    • Jerod returns, and then proceeds to make almost the entire podcast about discussing lucid dreaming (again). Periodically the chat jokes about wanting to move on from the subject, only for it inevitably come back around again. About the only other thing discussed is Stephen talking about colonoscopies.
  • Episode 25: Yeah I Am, Are You?
    • In Stephen's latest 'PHRASING' incident, he asks the others about their threshold for seeking out a napkin when they have food stains on their hands, as opposed to wiping it on their clothes. He then proceeds to describe his own preferred technique as "Suck 'n' Wipe".
    • Jerod refers to lint as "Sock Dandruff", claiming he's just using the term his wife Erika / Chatia does.
    • When discussing how heavy they were at birth, Jerod imagines how even at birth, he still started days like his daily vlogs.
Jerod: He came out going "Alright, let's get this vlog going!"
    • Tom makes a similar joke:
Tom: Like, you pull out a camera from nowhere, and you're like, "Hello, and welcome to... Mom, what day is it?"
  • Episode 26: Post Trick-or-Treat & Extra Life Exhaustion
    • As the title suggests, this episode was recorded a couple days after Extra Life (Stephen, Mal, & co's all-night charity stream). Stephen is so tired he falls asleep in the middle of the podcast. And wakes up twenty minutes later because he nearly fell out of his chair.
    • The follow up is incredible as well. In addition to Stephen coming to grips with reality and saying some expectedly confused and confusing things with surprising conviction Jon points out that Dan's editor notes have been updated with "Christ Alive".
  • Episode 29: Colosseum Quickly Approaches
  • Episode 30: Colosseum Is Very Far Away Now
    • Stephen talks about the movers that helped him relocate in between episodes. He also mentioned how Hayley, a friend of his, hid Snaby (the Babysitting Mama baby peripheral given a Whelk costume) in the guest bathroom. Jokes ensued as he also mentioned movers giving weird looks as they move furniture into the guest room.
  • Episode 31: Summertime is Here!
    • The guys make up an adult cereal called Scroaties, with the cereal taking dick shapes. The joke goes further by branding it under "Genital Mills" and giving it 69 grams of sugar.
    • Fanta serves as a Running Gag, as Stephen was given some during the episode by his wife Mal followed by his friend Brandon, much to his chagrin.
  • Episode 32: The Very First Episode
    • The title itself is hilarious, as well as the hosts' insistence that this episode is their first episode and that it's actually still 2020.
    • When the group gets on the discussion of giving animals weaponry, Jon says he would give a T. Rex a shotgun (since they can't aim it well), Tom wants to give a gun (specifically a desert eagle) to a sloth, Jerod wants to give ants knives (which Tom points out are just fire ants), and Stephen wants to make water bears the size of actual bears. Jon points out that they are actively screwing over humanity by doing this.
Stephen: Yeah, but it keeps things interesting.
    • Tom's suggestion on giving sloths guns prompts Stephen to state that "Sloth with a deagle" is his cover band name. This then causes the group to start singing "Hotel California" veeeerrrry slowly.
    • Following up on the above conversation, Tom states he wants to give the trees of the amazon chainguns, to which Stephen, in a deadpan tone, delivers this gem:
Stephen: I want to give the slushy machine in the 7-11 ammunition...You want to get your slushy and a machine gun just fires into the cup.
  • Episode 33: Sab is Stephen Now, And Also Frogs Too
  • Episode 34: No One Is Drunk Tonight?
    • Just the title and how it reads as either Suspiciously Specific Denial, or implying that someone's been drunk in all previous episodes.
    • It comes up that Stephen is referred to as a cryptid, due to his height, how he walks, and how he eats kiwi. This escalates to Tom suggesting his tombstone should read: "Here lies Stephen, beloved cryptid. Tongue talented."
      • The chat later points out that "Stephen Georg, Beloved Cryptid" sounds like a Dark Souls boss.
    • The discussion of Stephen as a cryptid is continued after he explains it's been a Running Gag for him, Mal, and their friends, ever since they took a photo of him. Here's the photo in question. With his eyes partially closed and him being photographed mid-step, it ends up with an Uncanny Valley feeling despite being perfectly mundane. And then Jon adds a filter to it and it instantly looks like a genuine creepypasta.
    Jerod: Stephen Evil!
    Tom: Stevil!
    Stephen: (casually) It's me, Stevil.
    • Tom points out how, in the above picture, Stephen's right leg is a perfect rectangle. There's a Beat before everyone bursts out laughing.
Stephen: Yeah, doctors are hoping to fix that in the near future.
  • Episode 37: Is It Anybody's Birthday?
