• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • Stephen's Outback Stabhouse idea starting in Episode 5, a restaurant in which one pays for their dinner with their blood. Viewers joined in on the gag with fanart of the idea.
  • In Episode 13, during a talk about sandwich joints, Jon shows off a screen capture of Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon" music video featuring two kids supposedly holding another's legs while stuffing them into a basket. When asked how it relates to sandwiches, Jon jokingly responds, "So, how did you think they're gonna get the meat?"
• Memetic Mutation: Aside from Game Boy Player (Disc Only) itself, the podcast spawned a few:
  • "Stephen goes after Tom."^Explanation In introduction order, Tom is second and Stephen is third. Stephen reminds himself when to go specifically by commenting he goes after Tom.
  • Drawing Tom as household appliances and Stephen as plants started from this show, to go along with Jon being drawn as women and Jerod being drawn as bunnies and/or Pokémon. This was episode 3, where Jon admits (when asked by Stephen) that his gender-bender fanart includes three timelines (namely for a female streamer named Electron Jen, Bowsette-inspired succubus Pon-Pon (credited to AriZonia), and very busty fusion RosaJon (started by Jumney). That last timelines include similar fusions involving Emile (with Daisy) and Tim (with Pauline, as Jon confirms in a Fortune Street round with Tom who admits to being on the receiving end of similar art with Tharja).
  • "THE HASHBROWNS WERE FREE, JONATHAN!"^Explanation Stephen's angrily exasperated justification to why Jon should have accepted free hashbrowns (which he doesn't like).
  • Outback Stabhouse^Explanation Stephen pitches the idea of a restaurant where, instead of paying with money, you pay by letting the waiter stab you. The sheer weirdness, as well as how Tom and Jerod added onto it, led to it exploding and becoming nearly synonymous with the podcast itself.
  • "I took a few liberties!"^Explanation Stephen tells a story about a dream he had, where he asked Tom to do an episode of Morning Mario for him; however, rather than a video of Tom playing Super Mario Maker, he sent him a video of himself on a mountain giving snowboarding tips. When Stephen points out that it isn't Mario, Tom - with increasing frustration and indignity - insists "I took a few liberties!", after which Stephen woke up. Now an Ascended Meme as it inspired a bumper for TRG Colosseum 2022.
  • Shrimp.^Explanation Stephen drove through a rainstorm that eventually caused a flood, and when telling the story he lingers a fair bit on how he ate shrimp at his parents' house. Tom declares that this word, along with an echo, was the only thing going through Stephen's head as he sat in an underwater car.
  • Jerod is afraid of Stephen.^Explanation Jerod comments how he's "scared of Stephen now" after a particularly wild intro. People took this as literally as possible and decided Jerod was literally afraid of Stephen, just in general.
• Signature Scene: Stephen pitching the idea of Outback Stabhouse in episode 5 is generally the first thing listeners think of when the show is brought up. And if it's not that, it's his "took a few liberties" dream.
