These are recommendations made by Tropers for Ben Drowned fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here.

Status guide:
- Complete: Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
- Ongoing: The fic is being updated on a regular basisnote , or has received an update after a significant absence.
- Dormant: The fic has not been updated in a fairly long time (several months to a year or more) but the author has not pronounced it dead.
- Dead: The fic has not been updated in several years, or the author has specifically said that it will not be updated.

- Synopsis: TheTruth.rtf from BEN's point of view. Uses Alternative Character Interpretation to paint him as little more than a bored gadfly. It has a sense of humor and pokes fun at the original document, though good-naturedly.

- Synopsis: "College student Kayd Hendricks just hit the jackpot and by jackpot, he means an affordable house. But is this a stroke of good luck or some demented twist of fate?" It's a good interpretation of the events preceding the Ryukaki arc, but the tone of haunting solitude really makes it. Everything is that much creepier because you get the feeling he's completely alone, even when other people are nearby.

- Synopsis: Jadusable's first Cleverbot conversation with BEN wasn't quite what we saw in his notes. Involves (non-graphic) attempted cybering, which manages to be funny and creepy at the same time.

Offers Alternate Character Interpretation for BEN, and focuses mainly on the victim's decent into insanity.
