Under The Cerise Skies
is a Self-Insert Massive Multiplayer Crossover that primarily involves Steven Universe and Worm. The SI finds that he's been taken by the Gem Empire and turned into a half-Gem because they need help in fighting an enemy from beyond the stars. As such, he becomes the newest Diamond of the Gem Empire, Sunrise Diamond.

- Bitch acts more like an Anti-Hero thanks to the influence and support of the Gems.
- String Theory is less villainous due to dreaming of Sunrise Diamond when she triggered, giving her the strength of will to resist her shard's most destructive impulses, as well as focus her attention on other villains. She also make a Second Super-Identity that heals any innocent who is injured as collateral damage from her attacks.
- Adaptational Wimp: Amy doesn't get her canon powers thanks to Sunrise Diamond taking away her shard as she is about to trigger.
- Adaptation Name Change: Labyrinth decides to change her cape name to Artificer, as she's interested in learning magic from other universes.
- The Alliance: There is one among the various planets and races across the multiverse. It's called the United Transdimensional Realms.
- Alternate Self: As this story deals with multitudes of alternate universes, this inevitably happens.
- Sunrise thinks about Professor Threshold, a heroic version of Doctor Haywire from the Brockton Bay of Earth 460-AB, in Scintillation 4.8.
- In Carbonado 6.6, Armsmaster comes across two heroes from Earth 460-AB who are acting against the ABB. He realizes after interacting with them that they are the counterparts of Miss Militia and Glaistig Uaine.
- Sunrise mentions a few more in a conversation with Chevalier in Carbonado 6.7.She mentioned more, and I let her talk. "Ryu is Lung though his power is a metahuman ability, there's Black Knight." She formed a projection out of flame, shaped into words.

- Curb-Stomp Battle: When the Gems get serious, little on Earth Bet short of Endbringers or Scion can stop them.
- Dead Fic: In November 2022, the author confirms that they will no longer continue this story.
- Dream Walker: Similar to Steven, Sunrise Diamond also has this ability. It extends to visiting the dreams of people who are in other universe. The first time he does this, he ends up in the dreams of Koriand'r, the Void Vessel, and a shard from the Black Wyrm.
- Evil Counterpart: Abaddon/the Loner separated himself into four avatars, seemingly one for each of the Diamonds: the Azure Beast, the White Beast, the Tuscan Beast, and the Vermillion Beast. By the beginning of the story, only the Vermillion Beast remains.
- Foreshadowing: When Sunrise first mentions Hollow Knight to Flowers, the latter briefly looks upset. We later learn that she's friends with the Hollow Knight, and that she also lost a lot of friends when she went to Hollownest. As such, Sunrise mentioning the video game counterpart from his own dimension brought up bad memories.
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Sunrise does this to Eidolon after the latter has a Heroic BSoD about learning what would happen after Scion dies and his role in the creation of the Endbringers.
- Info Dump: Various Gems do this for some people from Earth Bet, specifically where the Gems come from and what their Dimension is like, the source of capes' powers, and the real reason the Gems are even on Earth Bet.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: In addition to Steven Universe and Worm, this fic currently also includes The DCU, Hollow Knight, Ben 10, Gravity Falls, Generator Rex, The Secret Saturdays, The Owl House, and Amphibia.
- The Multiverse: There are initially 3 universes introduced in the story, the one where the Gem Empire exists (Dimension 460’\ or 460-AB), the one that has Earth Mundanus (where the SI comes from), and the one where Earth Bet resides in.
- Dimension 460’\ also has elements of The DCU, Hollow Knight, Ben 10, Gravity Falls, Generator Rex, The Secret Saturdays, and Amphibia.
- It is later explained that in addition to Alternate Universes, there are also dimensions, like the Dream Realm, the Nightmare Realm, and the Demon Realm. There are also higher and lower dimensions that haven't been fully understood yet.

- Noodle Incident: Several events from Dimension 460’\ are sometimes referenced, mentioned, or thought of.
- Yellow Diamond once walked off being hit by an Incursean Conquest Ray.
- Earth 460’\ used to have Batman and Superman. However, something happened to them a few years ago that's left them out of commission.
- "Not So Different" Remark: Blue Diamond comments on the fact that people like who the Gem Authority once were or Cauldron was recently are more common than they would like.
- Oh, Crap!:
- This is the reaction of anyone from Earth Bet who learns that the Gems are aliens from another universe.
- Sunrise Diamond reacts this way upon realizing that the Red Queen is trying to turn Behemoth into a god.
- Recursive Fanfiction: The author takes a lot of inspiration from For a Diamond Is a Marveled Thing, with most of the things from the Steven Universe part of that fanfic being made part of this one.
- Seers: Both Gems and Entities can see the future. However, they have different methods of doing so, as explained by Flowers.“Determining the course of the future is far from trivial, and much of it involves going with the flow of events, of taking the future into your own hands. Breadth and depth, our powers and their powers have both though we specialize in depth while they excel at breadth.”
- Shout-Out: Sunrise's shield can take the form of a giant flower.
- Space Base: In addition to terraforming Mars Bet, the Gem Empire has also turned one of its moons (specifically Deimos) into a Moon Base.
- Super Team: Earth 460’\ has a counterpart of the Justice League called the League of Heroes. Its members include Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Flash.
- Terraform: As Earth Bet is full of shards, the Gem Empire decided to move their main base of operations in the Worm universe to Mars Bet. They have already made a habitable atmosphere for organic life on part of the surface of the planet.
