Lil Soniq, formerly named Lil Knucklez, is a fanfiction writer known for writing Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction. He began writing works for the fandom in 2011, though most of his prominent works have appeared later on. From 2011 to 2019, he continuously wrote various pieces of Sonic crossover fanfiction, but in late 2018, he announced that he would retire next year. He officially retired in March 2019, though all of his works are still on the site.

Perhaps his most well-known work is Sonic's Ultimate Harem, a 360-chapter collection of one-shots wherein Sonic has sex with various women from anime, video games, cartoons, and comics.

Most of the work contains depictions of sexual behavior, so it is not encouraged for younger readers.

According to the comments for a status update on DeviantArt a Deconstruction Fic based on his work is underway: It can be read here.

     Works

Tropes in his works include:

  • Alternate Universe Fic: Common within his fanfics, as they tend to deviate from the Sonic canon. However, he does prefer the use of the comics continuity.
  • All Women Are Lustful: Very, very prevalent in all of his works, particularly Ultimate Harem and Chaotic Harem. Almost all the female characters have developed a liking for Sonic for no standard reason, and soon enough, they're most likely having that as their only character trait.
  • Arbitrary Skepticism: Mario can't believe his ears when Sonic tells him he banged [insert sexy/powerful/alien female here], every single time. Nevermind the fact that Sonic has described sex with 200 different women up until that point.
  • Author Appeal: Likes Dragon Ball Z, so he mostly incorporates the transformations, terminology, and powers into his manifesting within Sonic as well as the OC's.
    • He's also fond of the comics continuity, as most of the characters that appear in the fic are more in line with the comics.
    • In terms of the music that he uses, he's fond of R&B as well as Western Hip-Hop/Rap. R&B is prevalent throughout Sonic's Ultimate Harem, while Hip-Hop is common as opening songs for the Fairy of Darkness series, often replacing the innate soundtracks.
  • Author Avatar: His version of Sonic is actually a self-insert that deviates from the normal personality and powers that the regular Sonic has. To a lesser extent Shadow is this as well.
  • Chick Magnet: Sonic and Shadow, whoever is mostly featured. It often goes to the point when it completely goes against the characterization of the original depictions.
  • Crossover Couple: In addition to the various affairs in Sonic's Ultimate Harem and Shadow's Chaotic Harem, these are prevalent throughout most of his fics.
    • Fairy Of Darkness mainly features the pairing of Sonic and Erza Scarlet.
  • Extremely Short Timespan: Sonic's Ultimate Harem framing device is Sonic telling Mario about his lovers before his date with Samus. This means that Sonic described 359 sexual encounters to Mario in a single afternoon.
  • Generic Doomsday Villain: Common throughout most of his works.
    • Darkness the Hedgehog is one, stating that he will "plunge the world into eternal darkness" and "create his own empire", to which hasn't really been explored in both I and III. He even says he will destroy AND enslave everyone... simultaneously.
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: His Harem stories are this, whopping out over one hundred franchises, in which Sonic (or Shadow, depending on what you're reading) travels throughout all of these universes.
  • Original Generation : Common throughout his fanfics.
    • Fairy of Darkness:
      • Darkness the Hedgehog, along with his Quirky Miniboss Squad: Poison the Viper, Talon the Hawk, Claw the Jaguar, Rage the Rhino, and Brock the Gorilla.
      • II gives us Venom the Black Tiger, as well as reviving Brock the Gorilla from the previous entry and also features Professor Eugene Walker, the first human antagonist.
      • 'III clocks out a ton: Kenny the Exceed, Sonic's newfound Exceed partner; Spiral the Hedgehog, Sonic's cousin and a Wind Dragon Slayer; Zack Hyperion, the the Black Dragon Slayer mentored by Acnologia who later betrays Sonic in the end and fights him in the final fight of III; revives Darkness along with a new Quirky Miniboss Squad: Crash the Elephant, Death the Echidna, Hunter the Wolf, Candy the Coyote, Fang the Viper, Static the Hedgehog, and a revived Brock and Venom; Scar the Snow Werewolf, a guardian of Tartarus Island; Rex "Atticus" Jones, a reptilian resident of Tartarus Island.
      • IV presents us with Blast, Toxic and Flame the Hedgehog, the three Big Bads, Erebus, Zack's clone; and Rai Gadder, Zack's mentor.
      • V gives us its Big Bad, Scar, Sonic's brother (real name: Skid), as well as his own Quirky Miniboss Squad.
    • Fibers of Chaos gives us Blast, Toxic, and Flame from the above, except they share Darkness' backstory.
  • Porn with Plot: Sonic's Ultimate Harem has this, though it's mostly relegated to an Excuse Plot.
    • The Akame Ga Kill series in the anthology mostly follows the series through the end, except all of Night Raid surviving, including Sheele and Bulat.
    • The RWBY series follows Volume 1.
  • Sex Starts, Story Stops: The majority of his works that features sex is written merely just to titillate the viewer's sexual fantasies, but none of this adds up to the plot. While it's slightly excusable in Sonic's Ultimate Harem, it's applied even to serious stories like Fairy of Darkness and Fibers of Chaos.
  • Shout-Out: Fire Sonic's best abilities are all based on those of Ace.
  • Stock Light-Novel Hero: Believe it or not, Sonic is this in almost all of his works. He discards his previously cocky personality for a more reserved one, is the most powerful when it comes to the worlds he visits, is more powerful in moral terms compared to the rest of the series (whatever series he's using), uses a fighting style that's completely alien to the rest of the people surrounding him, and gains a harem of women composed of those series' main female leads. Outside of his bestial appearance, he's more or less "mature".
  • Signature Style: Crossovers featuring Sonic being transported to another universe, interacting with the characters and getting fawned at by the females. If that's not all, he always has an affinity for prioritizing the Rule of Cool and loves fight scenes, much to the expense of character development and proper story structuring.
