Waldo

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unordinarywaldo.jpg
Power Level: 2.8 note
Superpower: Shockwave note

A male criminal that has been terrorizing low-tier citizens in the Branish District after using an amplification drug to buff himself up to elite-tier. Remi makes Waldo the target of her first superhero mission.
  • Arc Villain: Waldo is the enemy terrorizing people in the Brandish District that Remi goes after for her first superhero mission.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: He stands out as the strongest in the low-tier Brandish District at a 4.2 Power Level, which makes it easy for him to keep control over the people living there.
  • Color-Coded Characters: Light Purple.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • Believed to have performed this against the boss who originally fired him after he returned as a stronger person.
    • Despite his power boosting up to elite-tier, he's still nowhere close to the Power Level that Remi is at, which results in her easily disposing of him.
  • Drunk with Power: It's said that Waldo let the power get to his head after he got buffed up.
  • Hostage Situation: After realizing that Remi can keep up with him, Waldo tries to keep Remi from outright attacking him further by warning her that a couple of his guys are ready to kill some low-tier hostages at another location. However, Waldo's men are easily dealt with by Isen and Blyke.
  • Jerkass: He keeps control over the Brandish District by holding power over the low-tiers weaker than himself, and forces said low-tiers to beat up other weak citizens to make a statement that he's the one running the show.
  • Knockback: His shockwave ability allows for Waldo to fire off powerful energy waves that knock back his enemies.
  • The Leader: Forces his way into this position to take control over the people living in the Brandish District.
  • Playing with Syringes: Due to the injection markings that Remi finds on Waldo's arm, it's implied heavily that he's been injecting something into his body that provided Waldo the power up.
  • Power Level: 2.8 Mid-tier.
    • With the use of an amplification drug, Waldo temporarily buffed himself up to 4.2 Elite-tier.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: He already has red eyes, but his eyes glow even redder when his power is active.
  • Revenge: After being fired from his job, Waldo returned months later after going through his power-up to defeat the boss that fired him and then took over the Branish District for himself.
  • Shout-Out: Remi makes several Where's Waldo? references during her search for him.
  • Starter Villain: Serves as the first villain that is fought when the superhero/vigilante missions start up.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Waldo took the amplification drug that increased his Power Level from 2.8 to 4.2 at some point during the months he was missing between when he got fired, and when he returned seeking revenge against the boss that fired him, he easily proceeded to beat said boss.
  • We Can Rule Together: Offers this to Remi when he realizes that she's a cut above all the low-tiers he's been terrorizing, but Remi quickly turns it down.

  • Color-Coded Characters: Purple.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Despite successfully wrapping her hair around Remi, she still easily gets shocked and unconscious.
  • Jerkass: Attacks Remi simply because she's protecting the low-tier women they're trying to terrorize. However, it's a strong possibility that Keesh and the company are only doing this because they're being forced by Waldo.
  • Power Level: 2.6 Mid-tier.
  • Prehensile Hair: Her superpower is growing out her hair, and attacking people with it.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only woman amongst Waldo's henchmen.

  • Know When to Fold 'Em: He quickly surrenders after watching Remi easily dispose of Keesh, Bimel, and Weim.
  • Nervous Wreck: Whether it be against Remi or Waldo, it's quite clear that the guy knows he's completely in over his head trying to take on people much stronger than himself. He finally calms down a bit after Waldo's been dealt with.
  • Nice Guy: He's actually a genuinely nice person, but is forced to go along with Waldo's antics simply because he's too weak to do anything about it.

Grasshill District

    Lennon

Lennon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unordinarylennon.jpg
Power Level: 3.5 note
Superpower: Conjure: Disks note

A male criminal that's been terrorizing low-tier citizens in the Grasshill District. Once Blyke feels that he's ready to start taking on harder vigilante missions, Lennon is made his first elite-tier target. Unfortunately, Blyke soon realizes he's in for a much tougher fight due to Lennon buffing himself up to a high-tier using the amplification drug.
  • Arc Villain: He and Raddix serve as the main villains that Blyke (and Kuyo) face off against for his vigilante mission in the Grasshill district.
  • Barrier Warrior: Can use his summoned energy disks as a defense where Lennon places them in front of himself to block attacks from hitting the user.
  • Berserk Button: People getting in his way tends to really piss him off. Every moment that Blyke and the support superhero kept getting in his way just got him angrier and angrier.

  • Took a Level in Badass: Like Waldo and Alana, he took the amplification drug to power up his ability.
  • Wake-Up Call Boss: Served as this for Blyke when the latter decided to move up from taking on mid-tier vigilante missions to elite-tier ones. Due to Lennon using an amplification drug that boosted him up to high-tier, along with the long-range support from Raddix, Blyke ended up in a tough 2-on-1 fight that probably would have resulted in his death had he not suddenly gotten help from the masked superhero that's been watching over his vigilantism. The result is Blyke leaving Lennon to be dealt with by the superhero while the former takes on Raddix.

  • Evil Duo: He and Lennon serve as a villain duo terrorizing the low-tiers of the Grasshill district.

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: He's reduced to begging for his life after Blyke defeats him, and aims at his head with his hand in the form of a finger gun ready to fire an energy beam through Lance's skull. Before Blyke's arrival, he's seen trying to force Amora (a Newside citizen) to follow his order of calling up the district's administration and surrendering the town to him.
  • Gang of Bullies: The leader of a gang of Mid-tiers that have been terrorizing people in the Newside District.
  • Jerkass: Lance has been abusing his power to take advantage of low-tiers in the Newside District.
  • The Leader: He leads a gang that recently moved to Newside so that they can go about terrorizing the district's low-tiers.
  • Oh, Crap!: His fight with Blyke was quite a surprise for him.

    • He goes through this again upon witnessing Blyke's ability upgrading to Energy Discharge, and knocking out all his remaining henchmen.
    • And again once he realizes that Blyke can use his ability to temporarily fly; completely avoiding his Tremor ability.
  • Power Level: 3.2 Mid-tier.
  • Starter Villain: Lance was this for Blyke when the latter started doing vigilante missions. Blyke specifically went for a weaker opponent he believed he could take on as his first target, and was the one target given focus so far that didn't even rely on the amplification drug.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Despite guessing from the way the disguised Blyke talks that the latter is no older than just a teenager, Lance still orders his henchmen to kill him.
