Main Characters

    Mira
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2805.JPG

A young girl suffering from severe constipation.

  • Megaton Punch: She is able to turn creatures into a bloody mess with the punch option.
  • Punny Name: Her name can be thought to come from the MiraLAX brand of laxatives.

    Bottom
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2804.JPG

A nude muscular person with a butt on their head.

  • Art Initiates Life: In the flashbacks seen before the battle against the Avatar of Irregularity, it is revealed that Bottom was a character originally created by Mira's brother, Colin, in a drawing.
  • Detachment Combat: Bottom detaches and punches a man in a black suit with his fist in order to save Constipation.
  • The Big Guy: Uses his strength to obliterate foes in order to safe the party.

    Horizon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2803.JPG

A white bunny that makes horselike noises and is referred to as a cat.

    ???
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2802.JPG

A nameless being that is given a name by Mira.

  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: A rare case of this not applying to the player character.
  • Joke Character: The final fight of the game makes it clear he's far and away the least effectual party member in a fight, with him attacking the final boss with simple slaps that elicit zero reaction. Even in the good ending, after Mira brings her friends back from the dead stronger than before, he takes a turn to unleash an extra-powerful special attack just like Horizon and Bottom before him... only for the game to declare he doesn't have enough MP to actually use it.
  • Mana: After being revived by Mira, he attempts to use Final Judgement. However he apparently lacks the MP to use it.
  • No Name Given: Before meeting Mira he didn't have a name.
  • Taking the Bullet: In the final battle he takes the hit for Mira, leaving him in a bloody mess.

    Fire Extinguisher
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2808_6.JPG

A sentient fire extinguisher that Mira constantly uses for the wrong purposes.

  • Animate Inanimate Object: He turns out to be a sentient fire extinguisher, as revealed when it gets annoyed with Mira for not properly knowing how to use it.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Saves Mira from the Marios when she's cornered by them.
  • Changed My Mind, Kid: Claims to not want to have anything to do with Mira at first, but in times of need he's usually there to help her.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: In all the endings, the fire extinguisher sacrifices itself in the battle against the Avatar of Irregularity to destroy it.
  • Tsundere: Castigates Mira over her improper fire extinguisher use in their first couple of interactions, culminating in him bailing on her in a fit of pique... only to prove totally willing to come back and save her when she's cornered by the Marios, not to mention find himself embarrassed when he "lets slip" that he'd rather see her smiling again than looking so down while trying to encourage her before saving the day again in the bad ending.

    Constipation
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2809.JPG

A girl with white hair and a white dress. She is a representation of Mira's constipation.

    MJ

A mysterious man that strangely looks like Michael Jackson.

  • Exposition Fairy: Whenever he shows up, he tells Mira important information about the world and her quest.
  • The Men in Black: He and other creatures are part of a strange group of black suited individuals who goes around and assassinates those who research IT.
  • Teleportation: Is seemingly capable of this.

    IT (spoilers)

The Avatar of Irregularity

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_4370.jpeg
A massive ball-like entity that is the source of Mira's constipation. It wants to destroy Wonderland, as it has done with other worlds prior, and feeds off the hatred and misery of its victims.
  • Big Bad: It is trying to destroy Wonderland and is the source of Mira's constipation.
  • Cutscene Boss: The "fight" against it plays out like a typical RPG fight, but with the characters making their own moves with no input from the player. In all three endings, the fight is scripted; the only real interaction comes in getting the right items beforehand to change the outcome.
  • Eldritch Abomination: It is an entity of unknown origins with the power and unexplained desire to destroy worlds.
  • Evil Overlooker: The title screen has it stare at the player with its red eye.
  • Expy: Of the Kirby villain Zero. The music that plays during the battle is a remix of Zero-Two's battle theme.
  • Generic Doomsday Villain: It never speaks or displays any kind of personality, nor is it clear where it came from; it's just a world-destroying menace that needs to be stopped.
  • Oculothorax: It is a giant ball with a big red eye.

Other Characters

    Crab

A red crab that has a eye on the back of its shell.

  • Big Damn Heroes: Swoops in to square off with Mira's father when he's about to consume her.
  • Faking the Dead: In the mountain section of the game, the Crab is apparently killed by the Salmon after the two defeat Mira's father, only for Mira to find it's left a note in the toilet room afterward stating that it's having a blast on vacation in Ocean City, Maryland.

    Salmon

A floating Salmon that randomly appears and stabs you.

  • Troll: Salmon keeps popping out from out of nowhere in one area to kill Mira, often showing up again from another direction even after you think you've successfully avoided him.

    Doctor

A man that saved Mira after a motorcycle accident. Wanted to become a football player, but eventually become a doctor.

  • Hero of Another Story: The lonely Doctor who saves Mira gets a flashback(?) where he gets his own moment, facing down his own blue tongue-father (who is just a palette swap of Mira's red tongue-father) with the help of his own friends.

    Father

Mira and Colin's father.

  • Abusive Dad: He's an obstacle in Mira's adventures, and only wants to take her away for himself.
  • Body Horror: He's a giant red tongue with a face.

    Gang Leader

The gang leader of the Mean Team.

  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Responds to Mira attempting to cross the Mean Team's turf by belligerently trying to block her way and then challenging her to a deadly motorbike race when she refuses to relent. ...Then chides her for attempting to start the race without a helmet, lends her one (a cute Pikachu one, to boot), is happy to see she's okay after her ensuing cow-induced crash, and gifts her a motorcycle the team have tuned up to be "explosion-proof and cow-proof".

    Sebastian

A being that was researching IT. Just like his colleagues before him, he was killed by the black suited beings.

    Alice

A girl living inside of a cave which Mira befriends by dancing.

    The Absolute God of Violence

The God that rules over Unsafe Haven.

  • One-Hit Kill: He uses his fist to instantly pound Mira into a pool of blood on random occasions.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Mira can find him on break from beating up nerds in his house.
