- Adaptational Superpower Change/Adaptational Wimp: Carrot's beast mode has 12 different forms based on the Eastern Zodiac in the manga. The anime sticks with his ox form but the burning Lion form from ch. 13 does show up as a Super Mode in the OVA.
- Casanova Wannabe: Carrot hits on every girl in sight except the Misu sisters who he sees more as sister to him.
- Childhood Friend: The Misu sisters knew Carrot when they were all little kids, and grew up together, with the girls developing deep crushes on Carrot as a result. Unfortunately, it caused Carrot to firmly imprint on them as sisters, thus making them the only two girls he doesn't try to hit on.

- Edible Theme Naming: Named after the vegetable.
- God in Human Form: Each of the Sorcerer Hunters is the human reincarnation of a deceased god. Carrot is the reincarnation of Hakaishin, God of Destruction.

- Edible Theme Naming: named after the coffee-flavoured Italian dessert.
- God in Human Form: Each of the Sorcerer Hunters is the human reincarnation of a deceased god. Tira's past life was the Goddess of the West, Apros.
- Healing Hands: has healing magic in the manga. This stems from her being Apros' reincarnation, as Apros was also a goddess of healing.
- Not Helping Your Case: The Misu sisters' tendency to savagely flog Carrot with whips for his lecherous behavior and infidelities certainly doesn't make him any more inclined to view them as sexually attractive.

- Shameless Fanservice Girl: loves to show off her body, especially for Carrot.
- Stripperific: Chocola and Tira, literally.
