     Charlie Barosky (Stockton)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/barofsky_charles_4937.jpg
"I'm a river to my people. "
Played By: Peter Weller

A corrupt former police officer who still has ties with the local police agency and controls rackets around the Stockton ports.

  • Affably Evil: Charlie's actually a pretty genial fellow. He's even politically correct, correcting Jax on the ethnicity of the torture porn directors.
    ’’Persia hasn’t been a country since 637 A.D.’’
  • Boom, Headshot!: In the Finale, courtesy of Jax. Also counts as a Death by Cameo.
  • Cigar Chomper: He's usually seen with a cigar.
  • Cool Old Guy: He's first seen smoking a cigar in the Italian bakery he owns, and from there on proves himself to be a reasonable and highly competent man.
  • Dirty Cop: He's an ex-cop, but he retired to avoid being brought up on corruption charges.
  • Dirty Old Man: With Collette, a prostitute half his age.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When he and Jax break into the child pornography studio, he's absolutely furious and tells Jax he would've killed Alice if Jax hadn't. Later on when Jax asks Charlie what he did with Alice's body, Charlie replies that she was chopped up, burned, and buried "like a child pornographer deserves."
  • The Mole: Is revealed to be this for Henry Lin albeit after demanding an outrageous sum of money for the information.
  • Neighbourhood-Friendly Gangsters: He's concerned with protecting his community, and doesn't take kindly to Iranian gangsters making torture porn. Later on he is absolutely outraged to find out that a child pornography studio had been operating on his turf.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: As the king of the Stockton docks and surrounding areas, he likes to have strict control over his territory and reacts violently to intruders but still allows the Sons to explain their honest mistake and even offers to help them out with the Iranians.
  • Troll: When Jax walks in on him having sex with Collette, he turns his head and gives him a great big mocking smile.
  • Wild Card: He could be for or against anyone on any given day. This ends up being taken to its logical conclusion when he sells the Sons out to Henry Lin and gets West killed.

    Viktor Putlova (The Russians)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Putlova_Viktor_8604.jpg
Played By: Keith Szarabajka

An old acquaintance of Jimmy O who handles the dealings of the Russian mob in California.

  • Faux Affably Evil: He's usually smiling and jovial, quick to shake your hand and offer you a drink. This does little to hide the opportunistic and ruthless man he is.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Really, Viktor? Really? You thought that trusting Jax after you tried to murder him was wise?
  • Karmic Death: Stabbed by Jax in retaliation for trying to have him killed in prison.
  • The Mafiya: He seems to be the head of the Russian mob in California.
  • A Man of Wealth and Taste: His illegal cashflow has made Viktor a wealthy man, relaxing in his massive house with a glass of wine in one hand.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: Putlova is solely concerned with profit and keeping his organisation going, making him a dangerous man. This ends up biting him in the ass as his focus on “business” blinds him from realizing the bikers whose Vice-President he attempted to have murdered may not look past that incident for the sake of profit.
  • Wicked Cultured: Enjoys fine wine and chess while harbouring a vile psychopath.

    Jimmy Cacuzza (Cacuzza crime family)
Played By: Jeff Wincott

The leader of a Mafia family and long-time associate of Clay.

    Leo Pirelli (Pirelli crime family)
Played By: Peter Onorati

A mob boss based out of Lake Tahoe.

  • Affably Evil: When the Sons start a fight in his club while looking for Frankie, he merely ponders how they get any business done if they get pissed off over every little dispute, and then allows Jax to say his piece.
  • The Don: Of a Family operating in Lake Tahoe.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Despite the above noted affability, he immediately guns down Frankie upon seeing that he killed one of Leo’s trusted men, screwing up Jax’s plan to prove Clay’s guilt.
  • The Mafia

Lin Triad

    Henry Lin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lin_henry_735.jpg
Played By: Kenneth Choi

The Chinese-American leader of a San Francisco-based Triad.

  • Acquitted Too Late: After Jax tries to beat Lin to death in the street with Barosky's intervention but is warded off by The Cavalry in the form of non-corrupt cops, he spends the remainder of his vendetta trying to find a way to have Lin murdered in prison. This culiminates in Jax manipulating Juice's desire to earn his way back into the club into getting himself arrested in order to question Lin on the identity of The Rat within SAMCRO and then stabbing Lin to death while he hangs from a pipe. Unfortunately for both Juice and Lin, Jax discovers too late that the entire vendetta against the Triad was based on Juice and Gemma's lie and orders Juice's death in retaliation before shooting his own mother in the head.
  • A Father to His Men: Out of all the criminals featured in the show, the only ones who can match Lin's level of loyalty to his associates are the Sons themselves. He is furious when his deal gets botched and he figures Jax as being the one responsible. His men go out of their way to attempt to kill Tully for orchestrating Lin's death and also rape Juice in revenge before attempting to force him to comply with said hit.
  • Alas, Poor Villain: gets attacked by Jax and the Sons for something he didn’t do, gets the shit kicked out of him by Jax in front of his men, and then stabbed to death in prison by a rat after giving up information that was supposed to secure his life.
  • Beard of Evil: Step up from Permastubble, and starting to grey.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: For season 7.
  • The Dragon: To his uncle, Bohai Lin.
  • Dragon Ascendant: Takes over after Bohai is killed.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He's very personable and reasonable, but also cuts off Chucky's fingers because his compulsive masturbation is annoying.
  • Frame-Up: Gemma lying on the Chinese involvement in Tara's murder sets Jax and SAMCRO on a vendetta against Henry Lin and his whole organization during Season 7. It doesn't end well for anyone involved.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: His main motivation is money, and he's not unreasonable when it comes to making deals. One example being trading the services of SAMCRO's pornstars for "private experiences" in exchange for putting them in touch with a Hamas gun connection when the Sons' Irish pipeline becomes tenuous in Season 3.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: Usually dressed very well.
  • The Triads and the Tongs: He's the primary representative of the Lin Triad during the series and works under his uncle Bohai until his uncle's death. And then he gets killed himself thanks to the machinations of Gemma, a woman he never even meets, in Season 7.

    Bohai Lin

Played By: Keone Young

The head of the Lin Triad and uncle to Henry Lin.

  • Badass Boast:
Jax: "Starting a war drains both sides."
Bohai: "I am not starting it. I am joining it."
  • Beard of Evil: Just like his nephew, but more prominent.
  • Karmic Death: Bohai is killed by Happy after taking him hostage to force the Sons to hand over their gun business.
  • Revenge Before Reason: He's willing to join a gang war to avenge Henry's injury at Galen's hands.
  • The Triads and the Tongs: He's a member of the 'Lin Triad'.

The Ghanezi Brothers

    Amir

Played By: Anthony Azizi

An Iranian criminal and pornographer.

  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite being a filthy bastard who abuses and rapes women, Amir clearly cares about his brother Kia and starts on a campaign of revenge when he believes he has been killed. He also was clearly distraught when Barofsky killed one of his men.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Against the Sons, after his brother disappears. Amir correctly assumes the Sons killed them, although Tig was acting alone.

    Kia

Played By: Hal Ozsan

An Iranian criminal and pornographer.

  • Bullying a Dragon: Oh boy, it's not a good idea to taunt Tig by telling him you might enjoy raping his own daughter.
  • Burial at Sea: Tig dumps his body inside a cage to make it sink.
  • Iconic Item: His red jacket.
  • Never Found the Body: His brother is unable to find his body, since Tig shoved him in a cage and dropped him in the water.
  • Swirlie: Sort of. Tig drowns him in a tub filled with urine and vinegar. Then to add further insult to the Cruel and Unusual Death ends up peeing on Kia's corpse.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Admittedly he didn't know about Tig's family history but still when you're unarmed and locked in a cage is not the time to say you're going to put a outlaw biker's daughter in one of your rape/torture porn movies.

Miscellaneous Gangs

    TO Cross (Grim Bastards)

Played By: Michael Beach

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/to_cross.jpg

The president of the Grim Bastards Motorcycle Club. He is a good friend of Clay Morrow and SAMCRO.

  • Aborted Arc: Seems to be set up for a conflict with Jax and the Sons after they kill his cousin in retaliation for Opie’s murder. This is dropped by the Season 7 premier, with the Sons helping the Bastards track down a gang member who ran down three of their members in order to mend fences between the two clubs.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": He hates it when he's referred by his first name, being Taddarius.
  • Embarrassing First Name AND Embarrassing Middle Name:Taddarius Orwell. Apparently he only allows his mother to refer to him as such.
  • Neighbourhood-Friendly Gangsters: To the Sons, being their African-American counterparts essentially.
  • Scary Black Man: Averted. Cross can be threatening when he has to be, but otherwise he's a reasonable man with a code of honor.
  • Thicker Than Water: The reason he refuses to give up Randall, his cousin.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: He does this in only three words, but makes it effective due to his tone, expression and the clear sense of betrayal he feels after Jax kills his cousin.
    TO Cross: Who are you?

    Randall Hightower

An inmate of San Joaquin County Correctional Facility and cousin to TO.

  • Bald of Evil: He's completely bald.
  • Beard of Evil: Randall has a very thick beard, and coupled with his bald head and massive height, it gives him a very distinctive appearance.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Chibs kills him with a silenced pistol shot to the back of the head.
  • Fat Bastard: A big guy who likes beating people.
  • Hero Killer: He lays the fatal blow on Opie in the catacombs of Stockton.
  • Scary Black Man: Played with. He’s definitely a threat in prison when he has you cornered with backup. Out on the street however, he runs every chance he gets, usually while shooting over his shoulder.

    Dante (The Triple-Two)

Played By: Ramon Fernandez

The Meineke Militia

    Nate Meineke

Played By: Tim DeZarn
