  • The Bully: By his own admission, he bullied Nitto to suicide in Japan and mocked him for learning of it when they arrived at the new world.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: He just can't understand why anyone would care about the exiled Nitto, even when it's pointed out to him that he could well be next.
  • Hate Sink: He has no redeeming features and openly gloats at the fact that his bully victim was Driven to Suicide and then teleported into a dungeon to die. Then when the "heroes" are being trained up, goes out of his way to pick needless fights with his fellow trainees.
  • Lack of Empathy: If people aren't directly benefiting him, and sometimes even when they are, he doesn't care about them, at all.

  • Create Your Own Hero: Banishing Nitto and treating him cruelly results in creating the guy who is the antithesis of their entire kingdom, and later becomes well-known as the greatest champion of the innocent, helpless, and wronged.
