The protagonist of the story, a new father and boxer.- Didn't Think This Through: He severely overestimated his skills for his first match, resulting in the first of many, many losses.
- Embarrassing Nickname: In high school, he was nicknamed "Lulu" after his middle name, Luc.
- Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: He's the loving Gleeful to Von Kaiser's serious Grumpy.
- Good Parents: The crux of his character is trying to be the best father he can for Katrina.

- The Paragon: He was the World Champion for a period, and in his debut chapter, he encourages Joe to make his daughter proud.

- Friend to All Children: While he can be a bit curt to the boxers, he's very kind to the child characters.

- Significant Birthdate: The Fifth of November, also known as Guy Fawkes Night in the United Kingdom. With the holiday's focus on fireworks and bonfires, it's all too fitting for Narcis' fiery disposition and explosive temper when he's in the ring.
