  • Arc Villain: Subverted. While she's revealed to be the villain of chapter 5 on paper due to her real intention behind the competition, Octavia is merely a puppet for Julius Cheeser, who's the real villain of the chapter.
  • And I Must Scream: She's partly aware that she's being controlled by Julius Caesar, but unable to do anything about it and indirectly begging to the player for help by unlocking her diary containing the photo of her and Cicero together.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: It's later revealed that Octavia's mind is partly controlled by the spirit of Julius Cheeser to carry his will in getting a new host body via the winner of the ZArena competition for his pizza industry domination as well getting ancient romano mannerisms to boot. Shall you fail to seal the dough, and Julius ends up fully taking over her.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Whenever Cicero or anything related to her being mentioned, she always prefer to avoid talking about it altogether, indicating that they used to have some kind of connections in the past. It's revealed that they're the one who discover the dough in the first place, only for Octavia to be partly taken over by Julius Cheeser's spirit and things become sour between them ever since. But once she's freed of his control, she would show her gratitude toward the player and attempt to fix her friendship with Cicero.

  • We Used to Be Friends: Whenever Octavia or anything related to her being mentioned, she always prefer to avoid talking about it altogether, indicating that they used to have some kind of connections in the past. It's revealed that they're the one who discover the dough in the first place, only for Octavia to be partly taken over by Julius Cheeser's spirit and things become sour between them ever since. She still believe the real her is still inside and asking the player for help, should you show the picture of her with Octavia or by leaving a note behind if she get caught by WPA.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: She's the one who stole the dough, but only because she discovers whoever eats it will be possessed by Julius Cheeser's spirit, and part of him has already taken over Octavia.

Chapter-focused Antagonists

    Alessandro Alicante
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alicante.png
"You will never become a master ovenist, haha!"
Click here to see him in casual clothes
"This is a real pizza...real pizza dookie!"
The antagonistic and competitive owner of the titular pizza shop across the street, Alicante is the main antagonist of Chapter 1.
  • Animals Hate Him: To be precise, bears hate him. He lose his pizzeria at the end of Chapter 1 because of them in the first place. And even when he tries to open a pizza booth at the beginning of chapter 5, they still pestering his business every once in a while.
  • Arc Villain: Of Chapter 1, where he is the player's main competition in town.
  • Bankruptcy Barrel: His brief appearance at the start of Chapter 2 has him in one.
  • Break the Haughty: After his shop gets ransacked by the bears, Alicante will concede defeat to the player with an uncharacteristic frown on his face. We later learn in Chapter 2 that Alicante has been reduced to selling his remaining supplies for money. Subverted by the Chapter 4, where he's just as smug as ever after going back to his "pizza-making roots".
  • The Bus Came Back: Returns in Chapter 4 to aid the player against BDP by providing them with Garlic and instructions on how to make a House Special.
  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Despite his behavior, he genuinely loves his mother, and the Mother's Day event stories focuses on his relationship with her. He even likes the same kind of pizza as her.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • As much as a Jerkass he is, even Alicante disapprove to Big Data Pizza on monopoling the pizzeria markets around the city and helping the player to bring them down.
    • Chapter 5 reveals that he doesn't like Dr. Keh's flavor enchancers either.
  • Evil Chef: Has the appearance of one, though he's less actively malevolent and more of a Jerkass.
  • Evil Laugh: He somehow manages to squeeze one into every single conversation he has with the player.
  • Friendly Enemy: By the time chapter 4 kicks in, he has a better relationship with the player, if still being rude toward them as usual.
  • Hidden Depths: As much of a Jerkass he is toward the player, he has some sense of respect and even develops soft spot toward them as the time goes on without willing to admit it, if some of his dialogues are anything to go by.
  • Irony: He supposedly serves as the player's first rival. And while it is the case, his relationship with the player is more akin to mentor-apprentice at times and even straight up an ally (albeit a grouchy and rude one) to them.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's a huge Jerkass upfront and all-around. But despite that, he has hidden sense of standards and admirable relationship with the player without willing to admit it.
    • He gives the player Garlic toppings during Chapter 4, albeit through the Plant Lady.
    • Chapter 5 reveals he has a daughter who he adores very much and has her dance trophy up at his pizzeria.
  • Laughably Evil: He's such a smug asshole and the fact that he squeezes in his Evil Laugh into every conversation he has makes it easy for him to be laughed at. His return in Chapter 4 has him bring some badly needed levity back into the game.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: At the end of Chapter 5, he's one of the recurring characters who's unaware of the whole Julius Cheeser's mess.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: He unwittingly helps the player prepare for the festivals by gloating to them about it a few days in advance.
  • Odd Friendship: It's... complicated, but he eventually have this dynamic with the player even if he remain rude toward them. At times, he even shown to be genuinely nice toward them... before quickly being a jerk again as usual.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • If the player somehow goes bankrupt during the very first day, he'll get you out of debt by giving you money and calls himself a "one-day philanthropist".
    • If you help him get in contact with his mother during the Mother's Day Event, he'll genuinely thank the player and give him a unique pizza box, complete with the words "Better than the best".
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: Inverted. He's absent for most of the game, but returns during the much more very serious Chapter 4.
  • Smug Snake: Always acts like a condescending asshole to the player and is implied to be one to his customers as well by charging them exorbitant prices for his pizzas.
  • Villainy-Free Villain: In the end, Alicante is just a massive Jerkass whose only crime is treating his customers and the player like crap. Compare this to the Deep Dish Gang, who will attempt to rob your store, as well as the later antagonists like Dr. Keh (who uses illegal flavor enhancers to beat you in the Pizza Palooza), Angelica Béchamel (who drove many pizzerias out of business using a robot to steal their recipes), alongside Julius Cheeser (who using ZArena competition as a ruse to find a host body for him to possess and take over the pizza industry by puppeting its host, Octavia to carry his will) and you'll realize Alicante isn't such a bad guy after all.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: While it's somewhat already hinted as early as the first chapter, his relationship with the player eventually grow into this. While remain rude as usual, Alicante comes across as helpful and friendly toward them without willing to admit it most of the time.

"Mark my words: the prize money, the accolades, it's all mine. I'm about to show you what happens to fools who stand in my way."
"I know what it takes to make success, and you don’t have it. Everyone will know that soon enough."
Dr. Keh is the reigning Pizza Palooza Champion at the start of the game and main antagonist of Chapter 3. Much like Alicante, he's a smug jackass who thinks very little of you.
  • Arc Villain: Of Chapter 3, where he is the reigning Pizza Palooza champion who needs to be defeated.
  • Asshole Victim: If you use his flavour enhancers against him during the pizza duel, he'll be exposed as a fraud and will go on the run. He had it coming, especially with the reveal in Chapter 4 that he drove multiple pizzerias out of business in his rise to Number 1.
  • The Bus Came Back: Returns in Chapter 5 as one of the opponents competing for Julius Cheeser's dough.
  • Enemy Mine: In chapter 5, after learning the truth about the dough, he assists the player to stop Julius Cheeser by using his prototype freezer to freeze the dough and seal his power once more.
  • Evil Counterpart: He's essentially Alicante without his redeeming qualities.
  • Evil Versus Oblivion: He's willing to help the player to put an end to Julius Cheeser's plot, but they made a note that he's doing it for his own benefit. Furthermore, Dr. Keh proclaims that it's supposed to be his job in taking over the pizza industry, not Julius'.
  • For Science!: If you beat him without the flavour enhancers, he's shocked that your pizzas taste so good with them and resolves to dedicate the rest of his life to finding the perfect flavor.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: He's the who drove Angelica Béchamel's original pizza shop out of business many years ago, making him indirectly responsible for the events surrounding BDP in Chapter 4.
  • Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: He uses illegal flavour enhancers to try and win a highly-publicised pizza duel against you, and drove Angelica Béchamel's original pizza shop and many others out of business.
  • Smug Snake: He's somehow even more of an asshole than Alicante.

    Angelica Béchamel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/character_profile_angelica_bchamel.png

  • Arc Villain: Of Chapter 4, where she is using her robots to steal recipes from other pizza stores to drive them out of business.
  • Freudian Excuse: Her original pizza shop was closed by Dr. Keh, resulting her taking in more cutthroat techniques to run her empire.
  • Heel Realization: If you decide to make BDP's takedown private, she stops by the shop one last time and tells the player she understands what you meant by work and passion. She thanks you for keeping things private and hands you a record player from her first shop.

He does keeping his eye on the ZArena, but nothing beyond that as he went to Cheesella concert that night.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: If you don't fix the locks (even though it's obvious that doing so would lead to dire consequences) then he'll manage to steal about 10% of your funds.
  • Obviously Evil: You can very much tell that this guy does not mean well. With his finger tenting and speech patterns and all. It's no longer the case by the time of chapter 5.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: He doesn't appear during the Darker and Edgier Chapter 4. It's likely justified since he's no longer being a thief by that point.
  • Stupid Crooks: He unwittingly warns you that he's broken your pizzeria's locks.
