    Mica
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mica_copy_1936x2849.png
Rarity: Epic -> Origin+5
Title: Vivace Idol
Artifact: Lyre of Orpheus
Height: 156cm
Birthday: 8/4
Hobbies: Practice signing autographs
Specialty: Fan service research
Likes: Orange-flavored candy
Dislikes: Studying
Voiced by: Siyoon Park (Korean), Machico (Japanese)
An upbeat aspiring hamster girl idol who may be putting too much effort in the wrong places. Considers Seeha her rival, although Seeha doesn't necessarily see their relationship that way.
  • Ascended Fangirl: Loved watching Seeha perform so much that she started to become an idol herself.
  • Big Ego, Hidden Depths: She's portrayed as having a strong sense of ego with how she constantly refers to herself as the cutest idol around, but underneath that exterior is a severely anxious girl that was once very unremarkable until her chance meeting with Seeha's performance that led her to pursue the path of an idol. Her Love Story delves into her insecurities and lack of confidence as the S.I.S program continues, and her endings all portray this aspect of hers to their logical conclusions.
  • Book Dumb: One of her stated dislikes is studying, and it usually takes something akin to scaring her to even get her to hit the books for once.
  • Fangirl: As revealed in her Love Story, she is one towards Seeha. She dreams of sharing a stage with her as equals, and she works hard into building her image to be able to reach this goal.
  • Genki Girl: Her brand as an idol, in contrast to Seeha's Proper Lady. She constantly introduces herself as the cutest idol around, and is usually seen with a big smile on her face that adds to her adorable charm.
  • Harp of Femininity: She is the Soul that represents the Greek hero Orpheus's lyre, but instead of an actual harp or lyre, she instead plays a custom-made guitar.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Her main M.O. in wanting to become a famous idol. Before her life as an idol, she was just a simple and normal Soul who desperately wanted to find something to pursue in her long life. Her seeing Seeha perform to a crowd gave her this purpose, and this led her to the desire to stand together with Seeha on a stage someday.
  • Idiot Hair: Sports one on the top of her head, and she definitely fits the mold of a stupid but spirited young girl.
  • Idol Singer: One of the two known idols in the game, alongside Seeha.
  • Image Song: "Miracle Idol♡Cute Angel", sung in-character by her KR VA Siyoon Park.
  • Leitmotif: "Idol begins!".
  • Second Place Is for Winners: No matter which ending you get (in both her's and Seeha's Love Story), Mica will always end up in second place, while Seeha will always win first place (due to in-universe Executive Meddling). Ignoring the Downer Ending, this doesn't dissuade Mica from the idol industry in the slightest, as her participation in the S.I.S has made her gain a bit of a cult following, and in her True Ending, she gets a merchandise deal along with the chance to enter another contest to try going pro for the second time in order to chase after Seeha.
  • Stepford Smiler: Underneath her beaming smile and cute antics is a very insecure girl that would sometimes berate herself for even dreaming of making it big in the idol industry and stand beside Seeha, often overcompensating to stand out much to her detriment. Her Love Story revolves around helping her drop this trope altogether.
  • Unknown Rival: Considers herself to be Seeha's rival, but said Soul doesn't, as she sees her more as a cute girl trying to do her best in her dream career that she would want to be close friends with.

Title: Lonely but Deadly
Artifact: Kutune Shirka
Height: 158cm

Likes: Attention, dark places
Dislikes: Loneliness
Voiced by: Gyumi Gwak (Korean), Momoyo Koyama (Japanese)
A seemingly antisocial fox Soul who's in the Fayren Forest Keepers alongside Dora and Nicole.
  • Meet the In-Laws: Her Love Story follows the Savior spending a week with her deceased parents after a fluctuation of Mana combined with the Savior's Soul Mastery and cultural act of praying for the dead allowed them to revive and maintain their bodies for at least a week. While the two of them weren't dating in the beginning, depending on his actions, he can end up getting their blessing to take her in both the Normal and True Endings.
  • Raised by Wolves: Revealed early in her Love Story. While Souls typically don't have any notion of parentage due to their nature as entities made of Mana, Haru ended up being raised by two Soul Animals when she woke up long after the age of humanity. Said Soul Animals were a fox-wolf pair that apparently came from a powerful sword that was once hidden within the snowy mountains they were living on, presumed to be Haru's own Artifact, so it can be argued that she really was their child.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: She comes off as an Aloof Ally with her preference for being a loner and her in-game combat style as a sneaky duelist, but her inner desire to interact with people, her being a part of the ragtag Fayren Forest Keepers, as well as her passive skilll where she provides her allies an attack buff as long as there are two other allies fighting near her, also make her a sweet Ineffectual Loner that knows she can't live alone.

One of, if not the strongest protector of the nation of Gaon. This great power of hers has made her rather oblivious towards societal norms and common sense, making her a rather odd Soul amongst the populace.
  • Anime Chinese Girl: She's themed after Eastern dragons, her artifact is a legendary guandao from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, she comes from an oriental-style nation, wears a qipao, and has a character theme influenced by traditional Chinese music.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Literally. She mainly stays up in the clouds, enjoying naps on them whenever she can. She is also rather oblivious to common sense, basic knowledge, and sometimes the feelings of others, which can lead her to a bit of argument towards the baby rabbits that follow her around.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: While she may act like a ditzy Cloudcuckoolander most of the time, there is a very good reason why she's considered Gaon's strongest guardian. Complete with Power Makes Your Voice Deep, she shows her elite prowess in battle with her ice powers. In-game, she slows down her enemies' Speed just by being on the battlefield, and her power to freeze and deplete their mana on demand makes her a very solid choice against setups that focus on gaining mana for skills.
  • Lack of Empathy: In her first Love Story, she gets into a fight with her baby rabbits due to her not understanding why they're afraid of eating grass in their territory. Rabbits are a prey species, so they'd prefer to leave as little tracks of them being there as possible. Meanwhile, Honglan doesn't understand this and reasons that they have her around to protect them should it come to that. Cue the infighting and her running away from Gaon due to pettiness.
  • Leitmotif: "Floating High".
  • Meaningful Name: In her Tower of Origin story, it's revealed that she had a previous name back when she was still a weapon for her masternote .
    • "Qinglong" refers to her as his weapon. It carries the notion of it being a very powerful and majestic weapon held by a legendary warrior. In Chinese, "blue/green" symbolizes nature and vitality, while dragons symbolize strength and authority. At this point in her life though, she was jaded and depressed due to her having to watch over and see through the ends of her late master's brothers-in-arms as they die in the battlefield, with her not being able to do anything to change their fates.
    • "Honglan", on the other hand, is a Meaningful Rename given to her by her master after meeting in heaven and before he ascended to godhood, urging her to live her life not as a weapon but as an individual and "as his friend". While she stated she didn't really care to know its meaning outside of knowing why the name she recalled after she awakened in the age of Souls isn't Qinglong, the Savior "gives" it meaning by saying it's "to be as refined as a red flower". In Chinese, "red" represents happiness and joy, and orchids are associated with grace and refinement. While present Honglan is not exactly "refined", it does show that her having Laser-Guided Amnesia was ultimately for the better as she can finally live her life just as her master wished for her without the baggage she carried during her time with him.
  • Power Makes Your Voice Deep: While her usual voice is soft and soothing, it drops some octaves when she participates in battle. In her Tower of Origin, this deeper voice was her normal one pre-amnesia as she was a powerful but jaded spirit at the time.

"Don't worry! I may be small, but this much is nothing!"
Rarity: Epic -> Origin+5
Title: Water Roar
Artifact: Turtle Ship
Height: 135cm
Birthday: 2/19
Hobbies: Pebble games, keeping the dignity
Specialty: Jegichagi
Likes: Honey cookies, sweet rice drinks
Dislikes: Oriental medicine
Voiced by: Hyewon Jung (Korean), Maria Naganawa (Japanese)
A rabbit girl from Gaon who has an affinity for the sea and sea turtles, usually seen with Jiho. She tends to talk in an antiquated manner due to her pedigree.
  • Animal Motifs: Rabbits (her appearance) and sea turtles (her fancied animals). The story "The Tortoise and the Hare" is directly referenced in her bond story, and may as well have been the basis for her mix-and-match character style in the first place. She also has a little sea turtle usually seen sitting on the top of her head, which moves to the top of her hand when she does her victory pose atop the Turtle Ship.
  • Antiquated Linguistics: She sometimes speaks in an archaic style, like using "thou" and "thy." Some Souls see her as adult-like because of this, until they talk to her personally and she ends up showing her cuter yet dignified side.
  • Cool Ship: Her personal Turtle Ship, which was already this trope in Real Life (being the infallible battleships Admiral Yi Sun-sin commanded during the Japanese invasion of Korea) before Eversoul upgraded it to a high-tech airship ala Marvel's Helicarrier. She uses it to either call in support fire (Main Skill) or ram it directly on enemies from the sky (Ultimate Skill).
  • Cynic–Idealist Duo: The Idealist to Jiho's (subdued) Cynic. Jiho had become a bit jaded following her experiences as a princess to a human country and her inability to change said country no matter how much power her origin flute may provide, she just doesn't express it outwardly as she is a Stepford Smiler who would prefer to listen to other people vent but wouldn't let herself vent out her frustrations, while Soonie always looks forward with a smile and believes she can change the world with the power she has as a Soul.
  • Downer Ending: Her Love Story's Bad End. During a crucial time when the endangered sea turtles are about to hatch on a beach near Arkenine, a Gate opens and monsters attack. Due to the Savior wrongly calling for Jiho to assist Soonie who's in the frontline instead of Catherine (regardless of any correct choices the player's picked up to this point), Soonie ends up sinking down with her ship. While she can still be saved, the real tragedy shows itself: all the sea turtle eggs Soonie worked so hard to protect were destroyed as a result of the battle. The Savior beats himself up over it due to his perceived incompetence... and that's where the story ends.
  • Happy Ending: Both her Love Story's Normal and True Ends. In the Normal End, Soonie manages to defend the sea turtle eggs and the beach from the monsters flooding out of the Gate, as the Savior correctly calls for Catherine to assist Soonie. The True End takes it even further, with the resulting victorious battle actually positively affecting the marine biosphere so much that the sea turtles, and other marine life, now have a big chance at repopulation. As a result, Soonie gets a giant statue of her erected by Queen Yuria as appreciation for her heroic deeds.
  • Historical Domain Superperson: Subdued, but her personality takes cues from the legendary Korean admiral Yi Sun-sin, who specialized in using turtle ships in naval combat. The resemblance to the admiral is so close that Koreans who aren't knowledgeable of the game or its lore thought she was a moe anthropomorphized version of him instead of the ship itself.
    • She is implied to be part of Gaon's navy, possibly in the upper echelons.
    • She keeps a diary to document every day of her very long life, just like Yi Sun-sin did with his "Nanjung ilgi".
    • Her Ultimate Skill name "Seek to Live Only to Die" and the voiceline she has while using it are based from one of said admiral's most famous quotes.
Admiral Yi: "Those who seek death shall live. Those who seek life shall die."
Soonie: (while unleashing her Ultimate Skill) "Fight to live and thou shall die. Fight to die and thou shall live!"
  • Ironic Fear: She is a Soul that originated from a relatively ancient warship, but she admits that she was once scared of going into the waters, and it took her quite a while (and help from Jiho) to conquer said fear and become the formidable naval warrior that she is now. Truth in Television is in effect as it's been noted that rabbits, the animal that Soonie physically represents, can panic and hurt themselves when in water as a result of their disposition as a prey species.
  • Jumped at the Call: As she says in one of her Town chats, "the sea called and I answered." Despite her innate fear of water, she still decided to become part of the navy due to said call, shaping herself up along the way.
  • Last-Second Ending Choice: In her seventh Love Story, as Soonie goes solo in a naval battle to protect the endangered sea turtle eggs, the Savior is given the option to choose between Jiho and Catherine to provide support. Picking Jiho will guarantee you the Downer Ending, regardless of the correct choices you've made previously. Meanwhile, picking Catherine will give you either the Normal or True Ends depending on the number of correct choices you've made.
  • Leitmotif: Has two: "Heart of the Sea" and "Days at Sea".
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Her shield is a Morph Weapon that can turn into a shuriken-like weapon that she throws at her opponents and a rifle that she uses to either fire an energy ball at enemies or call in support fire from her ship.
  • One of the Kids: She is usually well-respected by everyone as a warrior, but most Souls, particularly those she's close with, end up considering her as child-like at moments where she ends up "acting like how she looks", like taking some idioms too literally, playing children's games and becoming petty whenever she loses, or her fascination with Gaon-style honey cookies.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She is incredibly tanky for being the shortest Soul of the launch roster, if not the whole roster, being able to shrug off attacks with her Main Skill debuffing her enemies' Attack while giving her shield HP and having a heal-over-time effect with her Artifact equipped.
  • Running Away to Cry: Due to her dignified personality, she admits in one of her Town chats that she would sometimes find a secluded place for her to cry her heart out whenever she's emotionally vulnerable, far away from other Souls' eyes.
