Thia's Unit

The protagonist and Player Character of CocoPPa Dolls. She is a cheerful, optimistic girl who lives on The Edge of Cocoroa and aspires to be a PrincessDoll.
- All-Loving Heroine: She's nice, sweet, and always ready to give anyone and everyone a hand.
- Blue Oni, Red Oni: She is the Genki Girl Red to Themis’ calm, elegant Blue.
- Boyish Short Hair: Her hair is cut pretty short, even shorter than Vega’s.
- Genki Girl: This girl is like drinking Tokimeki for every single meal. She’s energetic, cheerful, sociable and a bit stubborn. Even Toni calls this out in the character introduction on Twitter.Toni: "Thia loves fashion and is curious! AND not calm at all ( ｰ́ωｰ̀ )"
- Kawaiiko: She looks super cute, is super cheery, and her dressing style specializes in cute-looking stuff.
- Idiot Hair: A small, cutesy one on the top of her head.
- Naïve Newcomer: Being chosen via a secret audition, Thia has little to no idea how the CocoDoll system works, which also make her serve as the Audience Surrogate.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: A Nice Girl with hot pink hair to match. Subverted in that she can use different hairstyles and colors in the dress-up matches, but all her sprites play this straight.
- Walking the Earth: Throughout the story course, she has traveled all over the Cocoroa cluster.

An agent comes from the Star Government, looking for a talented CocoDolls candidate. He has chosen Thia and accompanied her to help her complete herself.
- Berserk Button: Calling him a plushie will crush his composure immediately.
- Mr. Exposition: He’s often the one to explain the gameplay mechanic to players and CocoDoll concept as well as the planets' specialty to Thia.
- Only Sane Man: Among a unit full of weirdo, Toni is ironically the sanest one.
- Running Gag: He is not a plushie, yet everyone just need to overlook that fact. Expect going to a new planet and a NPC will immediately call him a cute plushie.
- Talking Animal: Of course he is, or else how could he be an agent?
Voiced by: Wataru Komada
Formally one of Prince Adele's unit members, a somewhat spontaneous but studious and serious CocoDoll who lives in Taurus. He became the first member of Thia's unit after her and Adele's active persuasion.
- Badass Cape: The black cape covering his outfit is black outside and pink inside, decorated by a gold emblem and gold pattern; and it’s cool as hell.
- Promotion to Parent: He takes care of his younger siblings all by his own.
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: As he comes from Taurus, his outfit is mostly black. In Thia's unit he’s the tallest, and who can deny his handsomeness?

A CocoDoll that serves the Princess of Virgo and a very good maid. She loves to take care of people, but sometimes is a bit outspoken.
- Meido: Literally a royal maid prior to joining Thia’s unit and dresses the part. Porri has expressed her love of being a maid, and hopes to serve as one for Thia once she becomes a PrincessDoll.
- Ojou Ringlets: Styles her hair in some very tight and thick curls.
- Team Mom: A woman with mother-like kindness to her, she is very excited to help Thia out, and takes a quick liking to her as she enjoys helping raise up CocoDolls to be Princess Dolls.

A genius CocoDoll of the unit led by the Princess of Aquarius. Good at expressing individuality in free fashion that is not restricted by gender.
- Cannot Spit It Out: Non-romantic example. He could just straight out ask Mercedes about what she meant when she told him to try on a more masculine style, but he is too uncertain to, and spends most of the chapter wondering what’s wrong with himself.
- Pretty Boy: Compared to other male characters, notably Alcio, Vega is a little more effeminate with a pretty face and unisex costumes. When he crossed Thia the first time, she mistook him for a "cute girl". This once caused confusion amongst fans and the unclear translation didn’t help.
- The Stoic: He rarely emotes and often talks in a monotonous tone.
PrincessDolls

PrincessDoll of Aries, Meryl is a charismatic girl specializes in unusual Harajuku style who loves individuality, evolution and freedom.
- Affectionate Nickname: She calls her fans "Lamb".
- All Girls Like Ponies: Her Feet DEC has the appearance of a cutesy pony. Also, the "Meryl Snow Libra" set clearly takes inspiration from unicorns, with a literal horn on her hairpiece.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: Only wears the left stocking.
- Genki Girl: She is relatively upbeat and cheerful.

The new PrincessDoll of Cancer, her fashion and personality are very refreshing, fitting for a resort Princess. She originally was bright and cheerful, but failing to recover her planet from the effects of meteor showers has taken away her confidence.
- Break the Cutie: The inability to restore her planet from the devastation caused by the meteor showers has crushed her confidence into little pieces. By the time we meet her, she is very insecure, self-deprecating and overly exhausted. She gets better however.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She is a nice, gentle girl with blonde hair.
- Heroic RRoD: Constantly performing on Stage had taken away her last piece of energy, and she fainted in the backstage.
- It's All My Fault: She saw the deterioration of Cancer as her fault for not working hard enough, and started performing like crazy until Thia came.
- True Blue Femininity: Her Princess outfit is mostly blue, representing the vast sea of Cancer.

The PrincessDoll of Libra, a noble and confident lady who loves elegance and lives elegantly. She likes fluffy cute little animals.
- Big Sister Mentor: In a kind. She trained Thia about the etiquettes and bearing of a CocoDoll when she was in Libra.
- Cuteness Proximity: It didn’t get to the point throwing away her primness and property, but she did, literally, intend to keep Toni for herself because she likes cute fluffy little animals and he fits all the tropes.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: At first, she seemed selfish and arrogant for not allowing Toni to return to Thia despite his protest, but she’s actually really nice.
- The Ojou: Everything about her just screams "noble rich lady", and she maybe a real one. Elaborate dresses, big mansion (take note in the biggest one in Libra's map where Thia gets to meet her), well-groomed hair, proper etiquette, perfumes, etc...
- Pimped-Out Dress: It's the aesthetic of Libra, after all.

The PrinceDoll of Taurus, a calm adult man with composed deposition. He is the representative of Gothic style and people respect him.
- Elegant Gothic Lolita: His planet‘s aesthetic is the dark, gothic side of lolita, contrasts with Virgo.
- Horned Humanoid: The hairpiece he is wearing features this image.
- Long-Haired Pretty Boy: Has even longer hair than most of the other Princesses.
- The Smurfette Principle: Inverted. Among the 12 PrincessDolls he is the only Prince.
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: He’s taller than Alcio, mostly dressed in dark color, and is no doubt a good-looking man.

The PrincessDoll of Sagittarius, a quiet and mysterious girl. Her traditional Chinese clothes are lovely.
- Cloudcuckoolander: To say at the very least, she is...weird. And cannot say a sentence fluently.
- Gorgeous Period Dress: Her traditional Chinese clothes is very exquisite and detailed, so much it bothers on Costume Porn.

The PrincessDoll of Virgo, Serpina is rather shy and won't hesitate to hide somewhere. She specializes in the cute, dreamy Sweet Lolita style.
- Curtains Match the Window: Both her eyes and hair are colored pink.
- Elegant Gothic Lolita: Her planet’s aesthetic is the dreamy cute side of lolita, contrasts with Taurus.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: Her left stocking is pink while the right one is blue.
- Princesses Prefer Pink: There’s only one word to describe Virgo: pink. And as their Princess, Serpina is also mostly dressed in the color.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: Those pastel pink hair is fitting for her kind, caring personality.
- Shrinking Violet: She’s painfully shy and won’t hesitate to hide somewhere from the public eye, so much it affects her performance as a Princess despite her talent. Luckily, she gets more proud at the end of Virgo Chapter.

The PrincessDoll of Aquarius, this dignified princess dresses in a cool steampunk style.
- Gadgeteer Genius: The steam loco was her invention, so it is implied.
- Goggles Do Nothing: The goggles on her hat is nothing but decoration. You may even not realizing they’re there.
- Ms. Fanservice: It’s milder than the Princess of Leo, but compared to previous PrincessDolls she gets to show off her long legs and has a Cleavage Window.
- Ojou Ringlets: Two locks of hair draping the sides of her face is more tightly curled compared to the rest of her hair, invoking the regal image.
- Poor Communication Kills: Downplayed, as no bad consequence happened, but her figurative and blunt way of talking tends to cause some trouble.
- Steampunk: It’s her planet’s Aesthetic, so she dresses the part with brownish color scheme, top hat, gears, the goggles and corset.

The PrincessDoll of Scorpio. She is a gentle, virtuous princess, and someone to be looked up to.
- Yamato Nadeshiko: Hime Cut, blissful disposition, gentle and virtuous, Koyuki wears this trope like a kimono. Oh wait she’s already wearing a kimono!

The PrincessDoll of Leo, a refined Arabian star princess and also a strict ruler.
- Ms. Fanservice: Her outfit is the most revealing of all Princesses.
Voiced by: Ayami Fujino
The PrincessDoll of Gemini and the last to be faced, she appeared in the Prologue as a mysterious figure who inspired Thia’s dream to be a PrincessDoll herself. She’s actually Thia’s older sister.
- Blue Oni, Red Oni: She is the calm, elegant Blue to Thia’s Genki Girl Red.
- Pimped-Out Dress: The dress she wears and the one she lended Thia in the Prologue is simply gorgeous.
