Hailing from the planet Titan, Thanos seeks out the Infinity Stones in order to bring "balance" to the universe.
  • Big Bad: He's the main villain of the Endgame OVA.
  • Karmic Death: Thanos was killed by the boy he snapped from existence.
  • This Cannot Be!: Thanos's shocked that a young boy he called an insect was able to defeat him.

    Spider King (SPOILERS

Spider King/Peter Parker

From an alternate universe, where Peter was bonded to a symbiote before being dusted and sent to Lugunica.
  • The Corrupter: He sways Emilia and Beatrice to his side.
  • Hero Killer: When he arrived at Kang's throne room, he immediately killed all but two Spider-Men.
  • The Leader: Spider King runs Arc Totem and leads his version of the Sinister Six.
  • Villain Protagonist: He is this in Wrath of the Spider King.

Cletus Casady/Carnage

A Serial Killer from the United States who fled to Japan to hide from the authorities. His life changed when he bonded with a crimson red symbiote.
  • The Dreaded: Not only is he considered a monster to humanity, he's also this to the Demons, including the 12 Mizuki.
  • Red Is Violent: Red is a psychotic red symbiote creature. The first time Cletus transformed into Carnage was during a Red Moon and he immediately painted the prison he was locked in with the jailer's blood.
  • Serial Killer: He was this in the United States before moving to Japan to continue his killing spree.

Highschool DxD: The Spirit of Vengeance

    Blackheart 

Blackheart

A powerful Devil that is feared by many throughout the Underworld. His personal enemies are the Ghost Riders and their mistress, Lady Mephisto.
  • Antagonistic Offspring: He is the son of Lady Mephisto and ever since turning into Blackheart, child and parent had been battling for years.
  • The Dreaded: Everyone in the supernatural world knows how deadly Blackheart is, not helping by the fact he had killed multiple Ghost Riders, including his own father, Johnny Blaze.
  • Fighting from the Inside: Nicholas had been battling for control for his body against the Dark One possessing him. He ultimately succeeds when he holds Blackheart long enough for Issei to destroy him for good.
  • Gone Horribly Wrong: Lady Mephisto believed her attempts to resurrect her son, Nicholas had corrupted him. It's later revealed that her son was actually possessed by one of the Dark Ones.
  • Invincible Villain: All of the great powers of the magical world were not able to defeat Blackheart. Issei, at his Super Mode, was only able to destroy his host body and send him back from whence he came.

    The Dark Ones 

The Dark Ones

They are a group of demonic entities.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: They orchestrated several events throughout the Darkhold saga, namely turning Nicholas Blaze and Scarlet Witch into their pawns to free them from their prison dimension.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Earth's Greatest Sorcerers were able to seal them into another dimension and the only way they can be free is to use the Darkhold.

Gorr the God Butcher

  • The Dreaded: The Gods shudder thinking about Gorr. Hermes warns Bell that saying that name is considered bad luck.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Spider's Thesis

    Gendo Ikari 

Gendo Ikari

Head of the organization, NERV.
  • Abusive Parents: A first class example. He not only abandoned Shinji to defend himself but also when they reunited years later, Gendo manipulated his son for his own gains. This later devolves into flat-out murder.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: A clueless Gendo remains adamant to his wife that he did not abandoned her which she claimed he did. But because he hated Shinji so much, it did not register to him that his actions against Shinji was the reason Yui discarded him.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Ultimately the real reason Gendio abused Shinjo who received just as much love, even more, from Yui.

Inuyashiki - The Last Web of Hope

    Hiro Shishigami/Sinister-Adaptoid 

  • Foil: The only thing they have in common is that they are given cybernetic powers by the aliens. Other than that, they are vastly different with Hiro abusing his powers while Ichiro uses them responsibly. In addition, Hiro is a fan of Japanese manga while Ichiro loves reading American Comic Books.
  • Sadistic Choice: Performs this by forcing Ichiro to choose between saving his grandson or planes full of innocent people. Thankfully, Ichiro did both.

    Kang the Conqueror 
A multiversal invader who wants to take over the Multiverse.
  • Big Bad: He's the main villain of the Spiderverse Saga.
