- Rival Team Up: Teams up with Maki to fight the Eternal. Is eventually defeated which leaves Maki to fight alone.

- Wham Shot: Manages to break Maki's signature Air Spin Driver, much to everyone's surprise.
Julietta Sakamoto
Maki's stalker. He's known for his freakish strength and works as a ghostwriter.- Abhorrent Admirer: Maki has very good reason to find him creepy.

- Made of Iron: The man gets every bone in his body broken and he continues chasing after Maki while bandaged like a mummy.
- Rape as Drama: Has tried to rape Maki twice. He came close the second time as signaled by her struggles but was stopped by a well-placed kick to the groin.

- Stalker with a Crush: He falls in love with Maki and has been a constant thorn in her side since.
- Would Hit a Girl: Besides fighting Maki, he has no qualms about battering teenage girls who try to make him their sugar daddy. He coldly states that anyone who cheapens or plays around with "love" will receive no mercy from him.

- The Worf Effect: In her introductory arc, she fights Maki to a standstill, only losing due to technical submission. During the Fukamichi Ranking arc, she loses to Kinjiro (granted, she did only lose narrowly), someone Maki beat with only a bit of difficulty.
Tsukio Taketsugu
A construction worker who is the resident Butt-Monkey.- Calling Your Attacks: When he did, it made him seem like an Expy of Kenshiro.
- Iron Butt Monkey: He can hold his own in a fight, but he's not just almost dirt poor and easily ignored.
- Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Using a jackhammer so much allowed him to throw an onslaught of punches. His speed and strength allowed him to punch holes in a wall.
- The Worf Effect: Lost at least 3-4 times during the series run; he usually loses to opponents about to face Maki to show their strength, only for Maki to beat them with ease; showing her growth over the course of the series.
