By this point you might start wondering if Hypergryph is a music company due to the wide genres, quality and sheer quantity of its music. It's genuinely hard to focus on some fights due to the music that's used in them being such bangers.

Most of their official music can be found on the Monster Siren website.

    Operator Themes
  • "Zone 10⁻⁸", Ethan's theme, is a trance-like electronic song for the punk-like, chaotic ex-Reunion stealth artist.
  • Blaze has "Boiling Blood", made by Jason Welsh and featuring vocals from Cristina Vee. It's bombastic, fast, and perfectly encapsulates both Blaze's Hot-Blooded nature and fierce loyalty to Rhodes Island and the infected.
  • Ceobe has "Solitary Journey", a hauntingly atmospheric piece that emphasizes the mysteries and enigmatic history lying below all of Ceobe's silliness.
  • "Hometown Wind", Bagpipe's theme, is a relaxing, Scottish folk-styled piece with bagpipe sounds over the background, fitting with Bagpipe's origin from an expy of Scotland's countryside.
  • "Gazing from Great Heights", the theme of Rosa and the USSG, is a patriotic military-like theme that does a good job of hiding the terrors each of the students faced during the ruination of Chernobog.
  • Suzuran has the aptly named "Lily of the Valley", a calming trance theme for the adorable yet tough little fox.
  • "Curtain Call", Phantom's theme, is as unsettling and menacing as the man himself, as well as his namesake.
  • "Renegade", W's theme. It's filled with pride and is more a Badass Boast than what was given to her fellow Reunion comrade, declaring the Cute and Psycho mercenary to be an unstoppable Wild Card who plays all sides for her own goals. Considering her status as The Mole for Babel, and her loyalty to its successor, Rhodes Island, is driven more by a promise to a long-dead Sarkaz royal, it's not too far from the truth.
  • "Sparkling Hydraulics", the theme of Weedy, is beautifully tranquil and incredibly relaxing.
  • "Requiem" is a rather somber track that follows Patriot and FrostNova. Its lyrics are an adaptation of a Russian poem of the same name, and it's backed up by Surprisingly Good Russian. Considering it was released shortly after Chapter 7, the quiet tone more than anything fits the tragic deaths of both FrostNova and Patriot.
  • Thorns has "El Brillo Solitario", a lively dance-like piece sprinkled with horns and Spanish guitars to express his Iberian origins.
  • "Evolutionary Mechanization", Eunectes' theme, is a bombastic combination of rocking metal punctuated with tribal chants and drums, fitting for how the tribal Eunectes has incorporated modern machinery into her traditions.
  • "Spring's Pulse" (doubling as an Image Song for Myrrh and Nightingale) note , a peaceful piano-and-strings piece that speaks of both melancholy and new hope.
  • Surtr has "Reconnection", an ambient, mysterious and somewhat awe-inspiring song befitting the enigmatic Sarkaz and the various mysteries surrounding her.
  • "Stay Gold", Blemishine's theme, wouldn't be out of place in a high fantasy movie, depicting Maria's stalwart and fantastic ideals of knightly chivalry.
  • Rosmontis has "Confront", a calming and trance-like tune for a child who, for all her terrifying power, is still trying to find her place in the world.
  • Mudrock's theme, "Lithos", is foreboding and chilling, exuding a feeling of deep regret evocative of something that has been irreparably destroyed.
  • "Lullabye" (which also plays during the second half of Mephisto's last battle), a gorgeously haunting Russian lullaby depicting an unknown figure reassuring their child. Given that it's designed for Mephisto and Faust, the song really hammers home the tragic nature of the pair's story as well as their eventual ends. The second episode of Perish in Frost gives us the Japanese version of Lullaby as sung by Frostnova during her attack against Amiya, Frostleaf, and Meteorite, used as her Arts' incantation; fitting, as it's implied she was the one who sung it to Mephisto in the first place. And it is just as beautiful and haunting here as it is during the battle with the Singer, if not more so since this is Frostnova herself singing.
  • Amiya's Guard theme, "Wrathful Cerulean Flame", is a powerful and dramatic piece that celebrates her determination to blaze a path to a better future, no matter the cost. Players might recognise it from the snippet that plays in Episode 8 when Amiya unlocks her class change.
  • "Tipsy", the theme of Mountain. A suave, jazzy piece that wouldn't be out of place as bar ambience, fitting for how Mountain is a Gentleman and a Scholar and a wine connoisseur beneath his brutish appearance.
  • Archetto has "Till the Bell Tolls", a peaceful medieval song that evokes her noble origins and lofty goals.
  • "Neon-lit Bustle", Aak's theme, is a fantastic blend of modern electronic music and classical oriental with hints of mischief to represent Aak's free spirit and shadier work. This mix can also be taken as representing the current Chinese culture that freely blends old traditions and myths with the modern.
  • "Till the Wave Ends", Dusk and Nian's theme, is a grandiose theme that blends both modern and classical elements, as well as western and oriental instrumentation to create something majestic for the mysterious dragon sisters.
  • "Self-Observation", Saga's theme, is an almost menacing, multi-part epic that combines traditional oriental instruments with a grand orchestra and periodic chants to drive home that despite her more comedic tendencies, she's still a hardened warrior-monk with a mind of steel.
  • "Gearing Up", Passenger's theme, is a dark, foreboding electronic song that oozes sci-fi vibes and transforms into a heart-pounding thriller near the end, contrasting his genius with his unknown and potentially sinister ulterior motives as well as his bloody past.
  • "Autumn Moods" (which many have taken as an Image Song for Angelina and Croissant) sounds like the opening of an early 2000s anime, with carefree beats and whimsical vocals.
  • "Voices", the theme of the Abyssal Hunters, is incredibly menacing, featuring grand orchestration and ominous chants to create a Bloodborne-esque piece that conveys the danger of Terra's oceans, and the strength of those who stand against it.
  • "Immutable", Kal'tsit's theme, boasts enchanting synthetic harmonies and gorgeous vocals hinting that despite having lived long enough to witness countless histories unfold, she might not be as confident as she always looks to be - portraying both the mystery of the seemingly immortal doctor and the insecurities hidden beneath.
  • "Real Me", Carnelian's theme, starts off calm enough but quickly evolves into intense power-metal punctuated by a quiet interlude, as if to evoke the Blood Knight she keeps hidden beneath her refined persona.
  • "Keep the Torch", Pallas' theme, is an energetic yet mysterious EDM song with hauntingly beautiful backup vocals resembling Ancient Greek, reflecting Pallas' role as a priestess and Hope Bringer in Minos, Terra's equivalent of Greece.
  • "Winter Absolution" (which also doubles as an Image Song for Shining) is a menacing hymn packing magnificent orchestral parts backed up by Ominous Latin Chanting paraphrased from an actual hymn.
  • "Across the Wind", theme of Ch'en the Holungday. A peppy, relaxing pop song that also serves as an "I Want" Song about Ch'en, depicting her inner desires for freedom.
  • Mizuki has "Y1K", a catchy synth-pop song with periodic surreal, dissonant undertones that manage to capture the dichotomy between his whimsical and more unsettling sides.
  • "Towards Her Light", Saileach's theme, is an upbeat country-esque song with elegant vocals akin to a song from a Disney film, creating a song evocative of a proud Victorian anthem.
  • "Bridge to the Dawn", the theme of Fartooth and the Pinus Sylvestris, is a classic rock song that exudes a theme of profound hope befitting the Infected knights fighting for their future.
  • "Radiant", the theme of Nearl the Radiant Knight. An energetic drum-and-bass song with lyrics depicting her defiance against the Kazimierz corporations that tried to get rid of her, and proclaiming that she's back to prove her reputation, help the people, and give the corporations their just desserts.
  • The Pinus Sylvestris got a second theme, "Field in the Light", more closely associated with Flametail. It follows in the footsteps of her cohort Fartooth's theme by being a mix of dramatic rock and orchestral elements that contrasts sharply with the EDM-centric Kazimierz Major motif as if to proclaim their defiance against the system that oppresses them.
  • "Heal the World", Gnosis' theme, is a magnificently hopeful orchestral piece about his sacrifice and dedication made by Kevin Penkin of Made in Abyss fame alongside gorgeous vocals from Sarah Alainn, previously known for singing the ending for Xenoblade Chronicles 1.
  • "Silver Lining", SilverAsh's theme, is a confident fairytale-esque orchestral song with elegant lyrics depicting his will to sacrifice everything for his vision of Kjerag's future.
  • Ling's theme, "Revel in the Real", retains the grandiose Chinese orchestra from the themes of her sisters to show off her power but has a more whimsical vibe as if to better represent Ling's comparatively carefree, friendly nature.
  • Lee's theme, "And Yet it Wanes" is an energetic mix of smooth jazz and traditional Chinese instruments that come together to create an exciting, freestyle song for the suave and mysterious detective agency head.
  • Goldenglow has "Spark for Dream", an upbeat pop song with peppy vocals where Goldenglow asserts her dreams for the future and her will to stay positive on the path towards them.
  • "Прощание" (roughly "Parting" in Russian) is a haunting Russian elegy dedicated to Hellagur, with its lyrics painting a somber picture of the price of war, as well as Hellagur's desire for peace despite his past as a soldier.
  • Fiammetta has the aptly named "Eternal Flame", a triumphant rock song with lyrics likening her resolve to the immortal firebird that serves as her inspiration.
  • Horn's theme, "March On!", is an immensely triumphant and patriotic anthem with lyrics depicting Horn's fierce loyalty to Victoria and will to overcome any hardship in her name.
  • Lumen's theme, "Bluish Light", is a gorgeous ballad with enchanting vocals, speaking of the hope that even the darkest of storms can be pierced by a guiding light.
  • Irene's theme, "Rapier", is a suspenseful song that makes use of heavy orchestral, percussion, and guitars in contrast with calmer piano-based segments, representing the mysteries of Iberia and the ferocity of the Inquisition determined to protect it.
  • Specter the Unchained's theme, "Awaken", is a rousing operatic song depicting her triumphant return to being a fully-fledged Abyssal Hunter.
  • Ebenholz has "Ständchen", a somber piece of classical music which transitions into progressive rock halfway through, with its lyrics forming a duality depicting his struggle with the voice of his tyrannical ancestor inside his mind, and his coping with the loss of his best friend. For bonus points, its melody references the piece of the same name by Franz Schubert.
  • Dorothy has "Magic Theorem", a chill lo-fi style theme with lyrics blending scientific terms and dreamy romantic musings, contrasting her genius intellect and naive idealism.
  • Gavial the Invincible gets "All Hail Savior!", which reverberates with an Earth-shaking guitar and roaring vocals which truly emphasize both her raw power as a warrior and her determination to save others as a doctor.

  • Młynar's "Ensheath" is a noble lament depicting his broken idealism and hopelessness, while still asserting his will to stand and protect those he holds dear despite it.
  • "Stainless Heart", the theme of Stainless, is an aggressively triumphant rock theme that embodies Stainless' rebellious spirit and undying resolve to reclaim his homeland from its invaders.
  • Siege gets her long-overdue theme in the form of "Rekindle", with earth-shaking percussion and a mystical choir heralding her victorious return as the Queen of Victoria.
  • "Thorns in You", the theme of Texas the Omertosa. Memetic name aside, it's an incredibly elegant jazz piece evocative of the former mafiosa's melancholic grace.
  • Penance has "Sentenced", a mournful lament depicting Penance's guilt over the corruption she's been forced to embrace for a chance to realize her goals of justice in a corrupt city.
  • Vigil goes against his event partners with "Go My Way", a powerful country rock song depicting Vigil's strives to bring about a new change in Siracusan society while going against its violent traditions.
  • Reed the Flame Shadow has the aptly named "Flame Shadow", a gorgeous Celtic-style song depicting Reed as a Hope Bringer who gently promises to warm and support the downtrodden, no matter their hardships nor her own.
  • Chongyue's "Where Tidings Sweep" contrasts the themes of the other Sui siblings by downplaying the grandiose orchestra for almost melancholic strings and flutes, reflecting his centuries of experience of living on Terra as a mere man, and all the turmoil and hope he's seen.
  • Lin gets "Unto the Dust", which has that authentic Lungmen shopping District sound to it due to the traditional instruments mixed with modern percussion.
  • "High Mists of Spring" is a melancholic theme that brings out acoustic guitars and wood flutes to reflect Qiubai's elegance and strength in the face of her life of conflict.
  • Ines' "Squad Unknown" is a groovy piece that sounds like the backdrop to an old-school spy thriller in the vein of "Phenomenal Agents", while also serving as a Badass Boast about Ines' peerless espionage.
  • "Morning Dew" for Muelsyse is a relaxing and almost romantic song that seemingly depicts both Muelsyse's loneliness as the Last of Their Kind and her staying positive despite all her challenges.
  • Ho'olheyak's "Dormant Craving" contrasts her unstable mannerisms by being a surprisingly chill synth song where she comes to terms with her numbered days, and resolves to use what little time she has left to bring change to the world and pass her torch on to the future she won't see.
  • Silence the Paradigmatic has "The Cure", a hauntingly beautiful yet relaxing theme that laments how disease and suffering still persist endlessly despite her best efforts as a doctor, and how she can only help ease the pain and hope that her sacrifices won't end in vain.
  • Executor the Ex Foedere's "Stained" is a trance-like electronic piece that embodies the will of The Law, while also acknowledging that the gap between the Sankta and the fallen is smaller than the Sankta wish to admit.
  • Typhon's "Mortal Eye" is a beautiful folk song depicting Typhon as both a hunter and wielder of demons, who refuses to give in until she gets her revenge on the ones that took her family.
  • "Miss You", the aptly named theme of Eyjafjalla the Hvit Aska, is an upbeat yet melancholic song that depicts how much Eyja misses her deceased parents, and her wish that she'll be able to do them proud despite her grief.
  • Swire the Elegant Wit has "Missy", a chill Cantonese pop song taken straight out of the 80s to reflect Swire's Lungmenese charm.
  • "Water Quench", the theme of Jessica the Liberated, depicts how far Jessica has come from her timid old self, serving as a triumphant declaration of her newfound strength and confidence.
  • "Settle Into Ash" for Hoederer is a surprisingly upbeat song that is equal parts a Badass Boast for the hardened mercenary, and a lament for a Reluctant Warrior who is just tired of war and hatred.
  • Virtuosa's theme, "Revealing", is an incredible fusion of the orchestral motif of Leithanien and the dubstep/choir motif of Laterano, with the lyrics describing her desire to see others follow their hearts and true desires.
  • Viviana's "Illuminate" is a relaxing lo-fi theme, backed by violin strings, about Viviana's yearning for freedom while locked in a tower early in her life and her kindness in the present.
  • "Lessing", the theme of the titular operator, is a 2000s-style emo rock song which represents the conflicts within him that made him stubbornly temper himself with immense pain and discipline.
  • Degenbrecher has "Blade Catcher", a combination of delicate piano and melodic rock about embracing the shadows of her past which made her the way she is today while pledging to dedicate her all to protect her closest companions and keep them safe from harm.
  • Ray has "Winged Step", a somewhat soft-toned and dreamy-sounding song that is mostly about her strong imagination.
  • "浸春芜", Shu's theme, is a dramatic blend of traditional Chinese music and an aggressive electronic backdrop, reflecting the duality of Yan's use of advanced technology to improve the ages-old tradition of agriculture. The lyrics, sung in Hokkien Chinese, tie into Shu's domain over agriculture by resembling a prayer and hymn dedicated for the harvest, with the chorus being directly taken from an old Minnan folk song with a similar context.
  • "Beautiful & Lovely" is a theme shared by the Blacksteel girls, with representation for Liskarm, Franka, Jessica, and Vanilla in it exemplifying their status as True Companions.
  • Ascalon's theme, "ONE BY ONE", a surprisingly chill theme that could come straight out of a spy thriller, fit for a Hitman with a Heart who is fiercely protective of her companions and merciless towards her enemies in equal measure.

    Promotional and Other Music
  • Starset's songs being used for the trailers' music has been a major hook for many people (Arknights even had a Colbert Bump effect to Starset for those who haven't heard of the band before), with most of the fanbase agreeing that the other vocal songs used for the game just aren't as thematic, or as good as these three:
    • "Monster", which is used for the first trailer, has lyrics that are fitting for the dystopian war-like lore and setting between the Reunion Movement and their opposition. One could say that it summarizes the ideals of the Reunion - fighting for the rights of the discriminated individuals infected with oripathy. Fans would even claim that this video is more of a music video than an advertisement.
    • "Unbecoming", the theme of the second trailer, while starting slower and calm than "Monster", plays more like an "I Want" Song of someone wanting to be rescued. But then drums really kick in along with the chorus as well, until the end where the electric guitar's riffs become more audible in their majesty. The lyrics can be interpreted as someone blaming another fallen from grace for their fall.
    • The teaser included in the second anniversary added the appropriately-named "Infected", and forms a big part of the third Concept Trailer, which depicts a world overcome by global catastrophe and anarchy, and likens the state of the world in question as an infection - drawing many parallels to the world of Arknights.
  • The first anniversary of Arknights' Chinese server features this animation of the main story arc with "Untitled World" sung by ReoNa. It starts with a solemn piano tune before the guitars and drums kick in, the lyrics fitting the atmosphere and some of the conflicts that occurred in the story proper.
  • Steve Aoki and RUNN came together to deliver the hauntingly beautiful "Last of Me" with this animation depicting FrostNova during the later stages of the Lungmen Incident. Steve Aoki later collaborated with Yellow Claw to create the equally stunning "End Like This", also with an animation depicting the final battle against Patriot in Chernobog.
  • Crystallize, sung by Inori Minase, is an energetic, peppy pop song that absolutely radiates positivity.
  • Jeff Williams and Casey Lee Williams of RWBY fame collaborated to create "Come to Light", a fittingly heroic piece depicting the struggle to survive in the darkened world, and the heroes' determination to succeed despite all odds.
  • For the second anniversary, Hypergryph commissioned Low Roar of Death Stranding fame to compose Feels, a surreal piece that gives off relaxing vibes, yet is rife with distortion and cryptic lyrics that gives off the feeling that something is wrong.
  • Heart Forest, sung by Yui Ogura, is a cute, charming song that exudes hope and joy.
  • The global side of Arknights received I Believe In Us from Reigan, which sounds like something Skadi sang to Specter after the epilogue of the event's story.
  • Music-Rhythm game Cytus collaborated with Arknights to host crossover content, among which is Amiya's Theme, which is full of violins, an instrument that Amiya herself loves playing.
  • The incredible ManiFesto featuring Emperor, Siege, Ethan, Indra and Lappland, is a veritable parade of pure drip with solid beats backing it. Who knew that a talking penguin could be this badass? The full version includes an additional vocal section for Siege that shows off her serious chops.
  • Melting White is an incredibly chill song that evokes the feeling of a quiet, peaceful winter night.
  • "Prince Fox – Two Feet On The Ground (feat. Aviella)" was first aired on the second global anniversary stream, and it's a lovely mellow piece that sets the mood for the Dossoles Holiday event.
  • The Japanese livestream for the Second Anniversary had Sora's JP VA, Minori Suzuki, sing pop in a music video of Sora's own song, "Any".
  • Ain't Seen Nothing Like This is a rocking beat that, in-universe, was written by D.D.D when she was inspired by the sight of LUNG wRATh fighting in the championship.
  • Cristina Vee provides her powerful voice for CanNot Wait For, one of the vocal tracks from the Ambience Synesthesia collection.
  • LIZ provides her vocals for "We Will Rise", a powerful song thematically tied to the Victoria story arc that calls for everyone to put aside their petty quarrels and unite against a greater threat.
  • A Sweet Rendez-vous is a calming bossa nova piece featuring Eyjafalla, Provence, and Skyfire.
  • Ceobe's JP VA Asami Seto performs the vocal song "Honey Happy Days", where she sings about her daily life and fondness for food.
  • Suzuran's JP VA Kaede Hondo performed the almost overwhelmingly sweet Bouquet of Smiles for the JP 3rd anniversary, where Suzuran sings about her desire to help the world smile along with her.
  • Amiya received a new Character Song, Long Night's End, from the JP 3rd anniversary livestream, a vocal song done by her voice actress.
  • The 2022 Ambience Synesthesia featured Phenomenal Agents, an In-Universe spy movie written by Nian in the vein of a James Bond-esque heist, featuring Reed, Mudrock, Phantom, and Tequila. It has the most killer guitar chords.
  • Laters, exclusive to the Japanese Arknights channel, is sung by Texas and Lappland's Japanese voice actresses to commemorate the ending of the Il Siracusano event, telling of the two characters' relationship throughout the event and ending with them saying their farewells with the feeling that they'll meet again one day.
  • Before and After is a chill theme that almost serves as an Answer Song to the Song of Fools, where instead of pining for a flawed era of prosperity long gone, it instead embodies the hopeful dream that Iberia will rebuild anew after the tragedy and become better than it ever was before.
  • 本懐ノ雫 (Honkai no Shizuku), performed by Muelsyse's VA Yukari Tamura from the elf's own perspective, is an enchanting yet melancholic ballad that depicts her eternal loneliness and hope that she'll find true companionship and joy one day.
  • "A Cold Call", which prominently features Cantabile, Mostima, and Executor in the EP video, is a catchy synthwave number about pursuing someone and solving mysteries under the cover of the night.
  • "Minamoto" on the Japanese Arknights channel is a music video sung by Ceobe, Amiya, and Suzuran for the 3rd Anniversary festivities, laden with adorable sweetness.
  • The JP 4th anniversary stream gave us a music video for Honeyberry, "Midori Ame no Kotoba" as sung by her VA Honoka Inoue.
  • "Unbreakable" by STEPYN celebrates the 4th anniversary with a triumphant and upbeat song about our crew being unshakeable in the face of adversity.

    Main Story Music
  • Skullshatterer's first boss battle music is an excellent way to inform the player that shit gets real, starting off with drum beats, then immediately ramping into fast-paced electronica and never slowing down from there.
  • 落子无悔 (No Regrets), Mephisto and Faust's boss battle music is a suitably intimidating piece of electronica. Then it gets tenser from the first-minute mark onwards with a little bit of violins and an Ominous Pipe Organ.
  • The Lungmen City themes 龙门闹市-嚣 (Lungmen Downtown - Crowd) (sadly unused in-game) and 龙门作战-凌云 (Lungmen Battle - Ambition) are an absolute blast. The first theme is an interesting blend of electronica with a bit of traditional Chinese instruments, or flutes, metals, wood and strings. The second theme is loud and pulse-pounding, and it can make the player alert from simply playing the stage. The second theme's bass drops at 0:44 and 1:37 in particular give the theme a boost in exhilaration as players make their way through Lungmen - or, for more experienced players, remind them of Annihilation 3. Later chapters introduce 近卫局攻坚小队 (L.G.D. Attack Force) used for some of the most intense levels set in the city. Notably, this first plays in the main story when Mephisto unleashes the Enraged Possessed, and the music perfectly captures the urgency of this new aberrant threat.
  • Each of FrostNova's Leitmotifs representing herself in various phases, all as awesome as FrostNova herself:
    • 永冻症 (Permafrost), the theme for her introduction and first battle manages to emulate a chilling, or haunted effect in its intro with all the eeriness, and One-Woman Wail.
    • 盡歸霜雪 (Return to Frost and Snow), the theme for her second battle seems to be a remix of the first, but with an emphasis on percussion instruments instead, while keeping the chilling feeling in the intro and having the wailing persist throughout the music.
    • Абсолютный нуль температуры (Absolute Zero), the theme for when she goes all-out, provides an Orchestral Bombing all throughout, which wouldn't be out of place for an action movie's finale. And like the other two versions, the wailing is still there.
    • 37℃ the final theme for her heart-rending end in your arms. While having most of the themes, leitmotif and instruments from the first three versions, this one is more solemn, slow, and tear-jerking. It is very similar in style to the military taps played for fallen soldiers.
  • 来自雪原的回响 (Echo from the Tundra), the battle theme of the Yeti squadron that plays throughout the latter half of chapter 6, is a fast-paced track that plays up the tension as you fight against them.
  • 切爾諾伯格急行軍 (Chernobog Onslaught) from Chapter 7 is a very triumphant and heroic theme that goes all in with the brass, leading the listener to the impression that something awesome will go down whenever this plays in-game.
  • Непоколебимость (Unyielding), Patriot's boss theme, is as patriotic as a theme for the former Ursus general can be, with bombastic trumpets and drums evoking images of an unstoppable, proud military march. 視死如歸 (No Fear of Death), his theme in his second battle, drops all pretense and goes straight for the menacing, overwhelming presence of the general leading his army straight at you, ready to destroy Rhodes Island.
  • 遺忘 (Oblivion) is an intense theme that captures the desperate atmosphere as a group of Reunion elite Shieldguards throw their lot with Rosmontis to hold off a Zerg Rush of Tank-like berserk Infected.
  • As a way to cap off the climactic fight against Reunion in Chapter 8, Hypergryph hired Go Shiina of Tales of Legendia and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fame to compose Tower Fierce for use in both the game and trailer. The result is an absolutely bombastic orchestral piece that sounds just like his work on God Eater and hypes up players to take down the movement's head honcho.
  • 盾衛之志 (Shieldguard's Ambition) from Chapter 8 makes liberal use of a grandiose orchestra and chilling vocals to simultaneously evoke a sense of militaristic pride, triumph, and desperation.
  • 交鋒 (Confrontation), Talulah's boss theme, manages to crank the menacing vibes from the previous boss themes up, with choral chanting and a bombastic orchestra working to portray her as the unstoppable monster she is. During her second fight, when she transitions to her second phase, the music shifts to 塔露拉·雅特利亞斯 (Talulah Artorias), a more somber and menacing orchestral piece that encapsulates the feeling that the fight has only just begun.
  • Shadowstorm and Vines of Hatred, the Episode 9 battle theme and Mandragora's boss theme respectively, are both fast-paced orchestral pieces appropriate for a sudden invasion by a new and ferocious foe. The latter in particular is slower but much more foreboding, befitting of Mandragora's hatred and grudge.
  • Summum Voti (The Greatest Wish), as short as it is, is a tremendously haunting Latin hymn that starts off with an eerie music box before transitioning into a booming orchestra as the lyrics speak of a vague but foreboding future.
  • Teekazwurtzen, the theme used in the Episode 10 trailer and its Inferno Mode stages, comes out swinging with a bombastic violin and choir backed by electric guitars and a grand orchestra. It also serves as a more energetic reprise of By the Order of the Military Commission, Manfred's first theme, indicative of how Manfred has stopped playing nice and is ready to bring the full might of the Military Commission to bear upon Rhodes Island.
  • Quench is a short but bombastic piece that oozes with patriotism, implied to be a song sung by Victoria's metalworkers as they swear to serve their homeland no matter what, as well as serving as a proclamation of Eartha's rebellion against the Sarkaz.
  • Wecgas fore tham Cynge, Searu fore tham Ethle,Translation the boss theme for the Last Steam Knight, is a phenomenal mix of Ominous Pipe Organ, Orchestral Bombing, choral chanting, and bombastic dubstep that combines the legendary Steam Knights' mythical and mechanical aspects, while also proclaiming the sheer might of Victoria's finest.
  • Life Experience from the Damazti Cluster's battle is equal parts intimidating and uplifting, embodying both the tension of battling a lord of the Sarkaz for the first time and the courage to face them and defeat them despite this.
  • The boss theme of the Duq'arael, the Sanguinarch, an orchestral track that transitions from melancholic to heroic in its climax to show the struggle of Amiya, Logos and the Darknights trio as they fight against their most dangerous adversary yet, and their determination to win with the future of both the Sarkaz and all of Terra at stake.

    Side Story and Event Music
  • From Heart of Surging Flame:
    • DDD's track for the Heart of Surging Flame event, Ready?, is a relaxing EDM track full of summer vibes.
    • Obsidian Festival brings this incredibly fast-paced EDM track that easily gets Doctors pumped for taking on the legions of special enemies the levels have to offer.
    • The theme for the volcano levels. A slow and menacing instrumental with ominous organs and periodic chanting, it brings to mind the oppressive heat and lethal lava the volcano has to offer. For most players, the theme is synonymous with one of two things - the tough-as-nails EX maps for the Obsidian Festival, or Pompeii's boss fight.
  • From Code of Brawl:
    • 尘沙扬 (Dust and Sand), theme of the Rat King. Fast, rocking, and exciting, it's perfect for the final showdown with the big boss of Lungmen's underground.
    • 奇兵天坠 (Raiders' Skyfall) has a gorgeous guitar riff, invoking the air of brawling and festival throughout the downtown.
  • From Gavial - The Great Chief Returns, the song that changed an entire Sargon tribe, ALIVE, with vocals by Cristina Vee, is an Aegiran masterpiece. In-universe, this song brought profound change to Gavial's tribe when it was performed live in their village, and an instrumental version of this track plays during the actual battle with The Big Ugly Thing.
  • From Darknights Memoir:
    • Native Land is an intense and menacing theme perfect for carefully eliminating the hordes of powerful Sarkaz and their commanders without letting things devolve into chaos.

    • DM-MO-1 has Extinguish, an incredibly heart-pounding composition with both orchestral and electronic elements that gets one in the mood for facing the Marathon Level that is The Town of Taba.
  • From Twilight of Wolumonde:
    • The main title theme, Der Tag Neight Sich,Translation is an incredibly relaxing medieval-esque piece sure to get one ready for investigating mysteries within the village town of Wolumonde.
    • Mudrock's battle theme, Unshakeable, is a menacing orchestral piece and Dark Reprise of the normal battle theme, producing a theme that evokes her strength while still hinting at her heroism.
  • The main theme for Maria Nearl, Knights' Tournament, defied many people's expectations for a knight-themed event by being an energetic dubstep theme more akin to a sporting event, fitting for how the knights of Kazimierz have been reduced to commercialized entertainment for the masses.
  • From Mansfield Break, Jesselton's theme, Iron Hands, is a climactic and heart-pounding song for a final battle against a hardened killer in the middle of a prison break.
  • From Who is Real, The Ashen Sceneries is an oriental-style theme that showcases the majesty and mystery of the painter Dusk and her inked creations.
  • From Operation Originium Dust, Originium Abomination has the sound of bombastic trumpets and drums going off as Rhodes Island and Team Rainbow have to stop the Essence of Evolution from breaching and unleashing hell on the world of Terra.
  • Recharge, the title theme for Multivariate Cooperation is a pulse-pounding song that gets the player hyped up for the game's first multiplayer event. Each of the two battle themes is just as suspenseful, with Eradicate being a slow, pounding theme evocative of a careful tactical insertion, and Defiant being a more intense reprise of the latter which forgoes all pretense and drops you straight into drawn-out combat. These themes would later be reused for Stationary Security Service and Operation Wild Scales, respectively.
  • From A Walk in the Dust:
    • The title theme, Drifting Through Eternity, is relaxing, beautiful and mysterious, perfectly encapsulating the feeling of Kal'tsit's seemingly hundreds-year-long journey across Terra.
    • Penumbra of Ursus, the theme of the Emperor's Blade, is an appropriately menacing and grandiose orchestral piece, fitting since you're going up against a mysterious Super-Soldier described as the will of the Ursus Empire itself.
  • From Under Tides, the eponymous song and final boss theme is equal parts menacing and entrancingly beautiful with its booming drums and ethereal vocals, fitting for a battle against a mesmerizing yet terrifying Eldritch Abomination from beneath the waves. For bonus points, samples from the choral parts of the song are used as sound effects for Skadi the Corrupting Heart's skills.
  • Despite being written for an April Fools' Day-exclusive stage, "Loyal to the Beat" is a genuinely impressive Boastful Rap from the perspective of Emperor.
  • From Dossoles Holiday:
    • The lobby theme (also named "Dossoles Holiday") is a funky beat that also graced the 2nd Global Anniversary livestream pre-show.
    • Both battle themes, 巨浪與烈陽 (Waves and Sunshine) and Stop Breathing are energetic rock songs that seamlessly fit with the rushes of tough enemies on some of the later levels.
    • 傾潮 (The Tide), Pancho's theme, is a suspenseful, rocking piece that gives off the vibes of a high-speed, urgent boat chase.
  • From Near Light:
    • The Grand Knight Territory, the main theme for the event, follows in the footsteps of Maria Nearl by being a high-energy EDM song representing both the sports-like nature of the Major and Nearl's victorious return to form.
    • The Grand Duel, the boss theme of Dikaiopolis the Blood Knight, combines electronic elements, heavy percussion, grungy guitars, and choral chanting to create a menacing boss theme worthy of a battle with the mighty knight champion.
  • From Break the Ice, Change has Come is a fast-paced and intimidating electronic theme, befitting the sheer power and finesse of the legendary Black Knight.
  • Although sadly never used in-game, A Light Spark in Darkness is an insanely catchy drum-and-bass song that wouldn't be out of place in a rhythm game.
  • From Guide Ahead:
    • Daily Life in the Holy City, the menu theme, combines a mystical One-Woman Wail with trance-like electronic elements to create something that is equal parts tranquil and foreboding.
    • Both the regular battle theme Latent Threat and especially Andoain's theme The Martyr are a combination of church organs, haunting choral chanting, and blood-pumping electronic music.
  • From Stultifera Navis:
    • Hunter's Song is a short but haunting song depicting an aimlessly wandering hunter, implied to be a similar song to the one sung by Skadi in-story.
    • Stultifer Cantus/The Song of Fools, the Endspeaker's theme, is a sea shanty of the Iberian people expressing their greatest desire to once again sail the seas of Terra after despite the great disaster that befell them. It can also be interpreted in a more bleak light - for all of its triumphs, we know that because of the corruption of the old Iberia and how far it's fallen in the present, the "Golden Age" the Iberians dream of won't return again, making the song making evocative of a desperate attempt to cling to the past.
  • From Lingering Echoes:
  • From Dorothy's Vision, "夢境蘇醒" ("Awakening from a Dream"), the boss theme composed by Gareth Coker of Ori and the Blind Forest fame, is a slick piece of synthesizer music, using its off-kilter digital sounds to create the sense that people should tread warily when dealing with Rhine Labs.
  • From Ideal City:
    • The second battle theme 水花 (Splash) is peppy and upbeat as if to embody summer vacation itself, while also still getting you psyched up to face the challenges of the event.
    • The trailer's theme 衝破穹頂 (Break through the Dome)/Minima, which is also the final boss theme, is straight out of a rhythm game, with nonstop electronic goodness and a wicked piano solo, combining into a high-action, emotional theme for the climactic chase scene that is "Materialistic Antagonizer"/Stitch Canvas' boss stage.
  • From Il Siracusano, Signore dei Lupi/Lord of the Wolves is a jazzy theme taken straight out of an Italian mafia movie, with lyrics that are essentially one giant Badass Boast.
  • From What the Firelight Casts:
    • The title theme, "Lost Poetry", fully embraces the event's medieval/Celtic inspirations by being a tranquil yet magnificent orchestral piece with a beautiful flute as the centerpiece.
    • The battle theme "Cinders and Ashes" and Eblana's "Shadow of Dublinn" go in the other direction with all-out Orchestral Bombing straight out of an action fantasy film, with the latter notable for being a Dark Reprise of the title theme.
  • From Where Vernal Winds Will Never Blow, Ascending Onto the Pagoda is a bombastic orchestral piece with traditional Chinese instruments, befitting the climactic showdown against Ya while embodying its might as a Feranmut.
  • From Fire Within the Sand:
    • Fine Sand, the map theme, is a quiet track that puts the player into the role of a tactician creating a plan to survive in the harsh wilds of Sargon. Once nine days pass, the map theme changes to From the Desert, which has a more driving sense of urgency as the Lord Ameer's armada and Final Boss make their advance towards your stronghold.
    • Both the Resource Zone theme, Picking and Gathering, and the Hunting Zone theme, Chasing and Hunting, do an excellent job at conveying the feeling of delving into the arid wastes and trying to scrounge up as much as you can during those precious four minutes per action.
    • Fearsome Darktide from the Lord Ameer's Attack dials up the intensity from the original battle theme, and will often elicit a sense of suspense as to whether or not everything you mustered up over the run will be enough to handle the ferocity of the mode's final test.
    • In Tales Within the Sand, a more suspenseful remix of "Fine Sand" plays in place of the normal map theme whenever entering a Foreign Realm, indicating that you've entered a familiar yet unknown area teeming with treasure and danger.
  • From Lone Trail:
    • The title theme Ad astra oozes with sci-fi mystery and wonder, evoking the feelings of an astronaut seeing the world from space for the first time.
    • Kristen's boss theme, "Control's Wishes", is a haunting and ethereal piece that includes a vocal countdown invoking the launching of a spacecraft, before transforming into a breathtaking orchestral number akin to the finale of a sci-fi movie, invoking the feeling of a climactic adventure into the great unknown.
  • From Hortus de Escapimo:
    • The title theme, False Paradise, takes a leaf out of Guide Ahead's book, being an enchanting piano-and-electronic trance theme that combines mystic and futuristic elements.
    • The normal battle theme, Judgement Day, and Clement's boss theme, The Sinless, take the piano trance themes from the title theme by adding in pumping bass and ominous chanting, turning up the intensity and mysterious vibes.
  • From So Long, Adele:
    • The menu theme, "Misty Memory", is a dreamy, chill song reminiscent of 80-90s pop, with lyrics that depict a wistful longing. It has two variants depending on the current time of the day: the daytime version is slower and more relaxing as if to evoke lounging on a beach, while the night version has a more upbeat tempo evocative of the bustling night of a city vacation.
    • Effervescence is almost too relaxing to be a battle theme and is brimming with an almost nostalgic charm. The artist, Kirara Magic (previously known for their electronic singles and remixes), described it as "tropical disco" and also posted a video about the song's creation process and inspirations.
    • Counting Sheep is a whimsical number with surf-style guitars interspersed with the sounds of sheep bleating to create an absurd but energizing result. Amusingly, players of Plants vs. Zombies 2 may also find the soundfont familiar (and fear-inducing).
    • Sheepnado Decimates Nomadic City, Dolly's theme. Ridiculous name aside, it's an insanely jazzy song with a killer saxophone and the bassline to back it up, hyping up the player for a vacation splashdown against an ancient Beast Lord in the middle of Siesta.
    • Adele's Dream is a beautifully tranquil theme that highlights Eyjafjalla's tragic life and her strength to dream hopefully despite her numbered days.
    • So Long for Another Summer from the 3D trailer is triumphant whimsy in song form, encompassing the absolute chaos and cuteness of the event simultaneously.
    • Drifting Blossom from Eyjafjalla's special PV is another gorgeous strings-and-piano piece that emphasizes the tragedy of her parents' lives, but also the triumphs of their discoveries and legacy.
  • From Come Catastrophes or Wakes of Vultures:
    • "Case Ejection", also used in the original Blacksteel PV, is a tactical-sounding electronic song that wouldn't sound out of place in Payday, painting BSW as a militant force to be reckoned with.
    • "The Survivor, The Winner", Cliff's boss theme, maintains the same modernized edge while turning up the intensity in the form of a slower march-like rhythm, while also sampling voice clips of presumably Cliff commanding the listener's attention.
  • From Zwillingstürme Im Herbst:
    • "Underneath the Spires" is an interesting mix of acapella and percussion that hits a fine line between catchy and unsettling, fitting for a musical battle against the Witch King's insurgents.
    • "Der Hexenkönig" (lit. "The Witch King") is a bombastic orchestral reprise with booming percussion and chanting, effectively serving as a remix of Franz Schubert's Erlkönig.
    • The Witch King of Leithania brings a magnificent orchestral number that comes in two versions which play in a Variable Mix depending on which in-game musical variation is currently active. "The Theme (Imperial)" is more subdued and regal, befitting a majestic yet terrible Sorcerous Overlord, while "The Theme (Variant)" dials things up with bombastic chanting and dubstep to embody his power rather than regality, while also introducing a piano interlude that serves as a Call-Back to Kreide's Afterglow.
  • From The Rides to Lake Silberneherze:
    • "Day Train to Lake Silberneherze" opens with a train horn and sets the tone as a whimsical, playful theme, full of rustic strings and rhythmic clapping to capture that secluded countryside feeling, sprinkled with more delicate xylophone for a wintery garnish, and the variation of the tempo from quick to fast almost gives it a dance sensation.
    • "First Crevasse on the Frozen Lake" follows up with a similar whimsical, almost fairy-tale clockpunk-like boss theme with the clanging of bells blended into a hint of techno with more of the xylophone and violin from "Day Train", but this time with a more menacing than friendly overtone, fitting of the Victorian boss.

    Contingency Contract OST
  • The theme Operation Barrenland by the DJ duo W&W, while similar to Astronomia of Coffin Dance/Dancing Pallbearers fame, is another absolute banger that gets you pumped up for what's considered some of the hardest content to date - Contingency Contract.
  • The battle theme from Broken Path is an obscenely blood-pumping track with some of the most aggressive bass the game has to offer.
  • Operation Pyrite is a Starset-esque rock song that really gets one motivated to take on the new challenges Season #1 has to offer.
  • The Pyrite Gorge has two of them. It begins with a more upbeat EDM tune than that of Broken Path. When you reach risk 16, its battle theme switches into a fiercely blood-boiling track that is suitably stressful for such difficulty.
  • Operation Blade is the titular theme for Season #2, a catchy Badass Boast that plays the singer to be an unstoppable force who will never back down until victory is theirs. Due to the unforgettable "Yes, I'm on fire, ignited by a burning desire!" line, a large portion of fans associate the song with the Hateful Avengers and their named counterpart, Red the Redblade.
  • Operation Cinder is an eerily quiet theme with ethereal vocals that, rather than getting one pumped for the challenge at hand, fills them with a sense of dread at what's to come.
  • Operation Lead Seal has an upbeat pop song that's great for motivating players to take their A-game to the dangers of the operation.
  • In contrast Lead Seal's battle theme is foreboding and intense, befitting the grueling cave battles to come in the operation. Past Risk 16, the song gains more menacing instrumentation and a One-Woman Wail to let you know that you are in serious trouble at this point.
  • The title theme for Operation Spectrum is an insanely energetic EDM song that fittingly sounds like it'd belong in a sporting event, hyping up the player for the challenge to come. The battle theme is just as heart-pounding, combining the sense of hype with one of urgency as you're thrown into the heat of the battle.
  • Operation Wild Scales is a peppy pop song with catchy vocals boasting of the determination to push through any challenge.
  • Operation Pine Soot is an interesting mix between Chinese instruments and rock with triumphant vocals. The battle music follows the trend by being a bombastic Chinese orchestral piece.
  • Operation Dawnseeker is a catchy pop song with heavy synth-wave influences. The battle theme, Fading Sky, follows in the steps of Spectrum's battle theme by being a blood-pumping EDM song that throws you right into the action.
  • Operation Deepness is a grungy trap theme punctuated with eerie sound effects reminiscent of the deep sea and the beasts within. In battle, the theme changes to 湧潮急奏 (Surging Tides), a bombastic orchestra piece that urges the player to go forth and purge the Seaborn hordes.
  • Operation Ashring has a compelling and haunting refrain with the singer describing their guardian angel and their desire to become like them. It's a good time to bring your Sankta operators to vibe along. The battle theme Crawling Forward! is instead a grungy, menacing guitar song not unlike something from Doom, fitting given the hordes of bloody monstrosities in the permanent map.
  • Operation Fake Waves has a rousing and energetic beat that challenges you to test them down in the waves at the Dossoles artificial sea. It gained extra amusement factor when fans realised that the chorus used a similar chorus rhythm to the main theme song of Angry Birds.
  • Operation Basepoint symbolically works for the boss of the event himself, the Redblade Avenger of Area 59. Not only has he been beefed up as a boss specifically for this contract, he's very much back with a vengeance, wanting nothing more than to finally settle the score with you once and for all. Special points for the metal screams when he demands "a tooth for a tooth" and "an eye for an eye".

    Intergrated Strategies
  • The boss theme from Ceobe's Fungimist The "Bad Guy" is Here!, is a jazzy and overall exciting battle theme.
  • From Phantom and Crimson Solitaire
    • The main map theme, Crimson Solitaire, perfectly sets the scene for the gothic-style mystery of the Crimson Troupe and enigmatic castle. Entering the map with a Hallucination in play will change the map theme to Nurture, an unnerving and slightly off-kilter theme that gives off a feeling of uncertainty and dread for the suddenly raised difficulty.
    • Act ■, the boss theme for the Blood Diamond and the Big Sad Lock, is a haunting and bombastic theatrical piece that puts the Leitmotifs of the Crimson Solitaire on full display, creating a magnificent backdrop for a grueling climax of a final battle.
    • Silent Abyss, the Chapter 6 map theme, is a surprisingly calm theme that gives off the feeling of a definitive ending, but also that of finding something that you weren't supposed to.
    • Puppet's Ecstasy, the theme of the Troupe Mouthpiece, is deranged, off-kilter, and chaotic with incoherent instrumentation, creating a vibe of insanity for the equally insane fight with the mad puppeteer.
    • Rhythm in Literature, the theme of the Playwright, is an operatic vocal theme that serves as a Call-Back to the Crimson Solitaire leitmotif and Omen (which plays in the events that unlock the third ending), creating a climactic and mystical piece for the final battle against the mysterious and dangerous Playwright of the Troupe.
  • From Mizuki & Caerula Arbor:
    • The main theme Caerula Arbor sets the tone of the event by being a tranquil yet foreboding song that evokes both the beauty and danger of the ocean. If you're low on Light, this changes to Tree Reflections, a quieter yet far more menacing variation to introduce the danger of low Light and teetering on the edge of insanity.
    • Chorus of the Many from the last few floors is a hauntingly beautiful string piece with an ethereal choir akin to that of "Under Tides", making it seem like the ocean and Seaborn are singing. At low Light, this becomes Lament of the Few, which does away with the choir in favor of a heartbeat-like backdrop and more subdued instruments that evoke the pitch blackness of the abyssal depths.
    • Sorrow of We Many, used for the final boss fights against the mutated Highmore and the Last Knight, is a hauntingly climactic song that combines more electronic elements with a One-Woman Wail, spurring the player on to take on their otherworldly foe and emerge victorious.
    • Traveler//Conqueror, used in the last fight with Ishar-mla, is a more hopeless, menacing theme with vocal samples taken from Under Tides/Skadi the Corrupting Heart, fitting since you're facing the Corrupting Heart themselves, a Seaborn deity that has already ravaged Terra and is about to finish the job if left unchecked.
    • Endospore, the theme used for the final boss of the fourth ending, who happens to be Mizuki himself. It's an immensely triumphant piece with a killer bassline backing up mystical instrumentation and enchanting vocals, evocative of Mizuki's ascension and subsequent triumph.
    • Fair Trade, the theme that plays when trying to rob Cannot, is a bombastic remix of the normal shop theme that gives the impression you're about to get rich or pay for your arrogance.
    • Seawishes, a version of the theme which originally played on the promotional website used for the Other Side background option, is a beautiful piano piece that almost sounds like it's congratulating and comforting the player with the beauty of the ocean, after enduring the horrors of the ocean after achieving 155 levels in Caerula Arbor.
  • From Expeditioner's Jǫklumarkar:
    • The mode has four progressive map themes that change over time depending on the stage of the run. Initially, "Silverfrost Frontier" is a foreboding yet adventurous theme with high woodwinds and strings evoking a folk song used to herald explorers. At a heightened Collapse, "Infy Icefield" takes the previous theme and adds suspenseful flair by changing up the melody and adding the sound of ice crackling to evoke that the journey is getting more dangerous and unknown. On Floor 6, "Great Beyond" twists the melody into something downright sinister, adding electronic screeching and buzzing as the expedition team draws closer to the source of the Collapse. Finally, "Return to Wilderness" on the secret and seventh floors gets rid of most of the song entirely, leaving just an eerily off-kilter piano and an ominous background vibrato to indicate a territory that isn't just uncharted, but totally separated from conventional time, space, and reasoning.
    • "Evoke", the basic battle theme beyond Floor 3, has been affectionately called "Mongolian techno" by fans, combining ominous throat-singing with a pounding percussion beat, interspersed by eerie cries and drones. The special battle theme "Destruction" follows a similar path, being a more foreboding piece with booming tribal percussion, more throat-singing, whispered chants, and twanging strings giving the impression that something is terribly wrong.
    • "Time Immemorial", the boss theme for the Samivilinn, is a hauntingly beautiful theme with gorgeous hymn-like vocals and folk-like instruments, giving off the feeling of facing something that you should feel honored to even behold, fitting for the manifested will of Sami.
    • "Andarsár" from Eikthyrnir's boss battle brings back the folk instrumentation, but with shrill woodwinds, distorted electronic effects, and a more pounding tempo to give it a more urgent feel as the backdrop for a final battle to stop a catastrophic threat, while also retaining some triumphant elements befitting of it also being a fight to put a Fallen Hero out of his misery.
    • "Dimensional Escape" from Crazelyseon's battle drops all pretense of elegance and mysticism, being a frantic electronic song full of irregular sounds and audio distortions as if the track itself was corrupted, representing the player being thrown into a race against time to suppress an incomprehensible, reality-warping Eldritch Abomination before it can unleash disaster.
    • "Domination", added in the expansion, serves as the theme for the final fight against Lugalszargus and Kharanduu Khan, being a steady theme reminiscent of an ancient war march, befitting a fight against two of Terra's most legendary conquerors where both are marching their armies against each other just as much as they are against you.

    Anime Adaptation
  • ReoNa made "Alive" for the anime, which is a song overflowing with emotion of how despite the constant strings of conflicts due to the clash of ideals and goals, you are still here alive and making a mark on the world.
  • "Be Me" by Dou is a chill banger that gives you a chance to unwind at the end of an episode.
  • Monkey Majik provides "Running in the Dark" for the credits theme of the anime adaptation's reveal on livestream, and it is a mellow, chill pop rock track which comes with a convenient dance number to groove along with.
  • Prelude to Dawn, the main theme of the anime, is a magnificent operatic theme that embodies the duality between the dreary setting of Terra and the hope that its heroes cling to.
  • The second season received "Ache in Pulse" from MYTH & ROID as its intro theme, and it goes hard even as it reminds you of the heartache that is going to come to you into depths of Lungmen. MYTH & ROID also released an official music video for this song that accurately captures the haunting imagery of Sarkaz Witchcraft as the camera rotates around a shard of Originium.
  • ReoNa comes back for the season to make "R.I.P" the ED theme, which both bids you rest in peace and is about the injustices of the world.
