  • The art evolution this series has gone through deserves a mention. Start at page 1, and then go to page 92 to get the feel of how far the comic has come. That's one hell of a jump.
  • Chapter 34, "Feel", introduces the concept of Ballyhoos in the series. How? Scoob destroys a giant monster in one shot.
  • Chapter 53, "Charge", shows the end of the Shag versus Yoge. Shag charges Yoge, deliberately taking a punch in the face from the latter's Simulcast and using the resulting blood spray to blind Yoge. Shag then powers through and knocks out Yoge with one devastating punch.
    • Keep in mind that Shag was strong enough to defeat Yoge in two hits — and that was after being hit by two of his own punches.
  • Pop versus Sam. Sam, knowing that he can't defeat Pop in a straight fight, shoots Dee instead; Pop uses his own body to shield her (even though he makes sure to use non-vital areas to block Sam's bullets).
    • The final moment: Pop accidentally lets a bullet slip through. He corrects his mistake by punching the bullet out of its course, before taking down Sam.
  • Scoob versus Bugs. Channel versus Dead Air — both overcharged into Wave Motion Guns.
  • Chapter 74 reveals two characters who produce massive Shocking Moments:
    • The first is the real identity of "Mick": another, older Shag. It's later revealed that both Shags are clones of the original Shag.
    • The second is Commander One, aka the real Mick. He flies, has red glowing eyes (in a black-and-white comic), and his mere presence manages to give Bugs pause.
      Bugs: Oh shit.
  • The next page shows us a taste of Commander One's power when he effortlessly warps Sam out of existence.
  • Page 82 shows us the Mystery Gang versus the invaders, led by Queen Tyr'ahnee. The fight shows that the former is not to be underestimated. At least until Tyr'ahnee unleashes an extremely powerful Ballyhoo.
  • Page 85 shows us two very tense fights:
    • Shag versus "Mick" (or rather: the newer Shag clone versus the older clone). The latter tries to lecture Shag about the pointlessness of fighting him without a Ballyhoo and of trying to live peacefully on Earth. Shag is having none of it:
      Shag: Like, you talk too much, man. All I know is m-my best pal is in trouble... and you're just in my way.
    • Bugs and Scoob prove themselves to be a great team, with Bugs countering One's Ballyhoo.
      • Too bad that Commander One then reveals that his Ballyhoo, "Power", is even more powerful than expected: he can restore anything he has destroyed. Cue Sam being resurrected just to block Scoob's attack.
      • Commander One then follows that up with a punch to Scoob's face, strong enough to leave a crater.
  • Page 86 shows another example for why Shag doesn't need a Ballyhoo to be a capable fighter: he easily dodges the clone's Jump Cut and lands a hit before his opponent can even attempt to retaliate. Keep in mind that Jump Cut is supposed to be one of the fastest Ballyhoos.
  • Page 87 is one hell of a Wham Episode:
    • The Commander decides to switch tactics: instead of trying to warp Scoob and Bugs out of existence, he summons two buildings and throws them.
    • Who saves Scoobs? Kerm, who managed to free himself and run to Scoob to shield him, despite having a busted leg.
      • Last time Kerm used Product Placement, he was unable to block Bugs. This time? He used a vending machine to block a building.
    • Scoob evolves his Ballyhoo and uses it to empower Shag. Shag enters a flaming blue Super Mode reminiscent of Super Saiyan Blue. Or more appropriately, Ultra Instinct Shaggy.
  • Page 88 implies that Shaggy's new form is closer to Ultra Instinct in nature than just a mere powerup. "Ultra Instinct Shaggy" is now technically a thing in this comic.
  • Page 92. Shag versus three trained men, one of which has a knife. Shag wins.
  • Page 96. Shaggy, while overcome by some sort of bloodlust, effortlessly defeats Ger's many, many stunt doubles, and even manages to shrug off a tidal wave of them, seemingly no worse for wear.
  • The plan Ger and the Inspector use to deal with JFK. First, the Inspector walks up to JFK's face and tricks the latter into trying to attack him directly; this fails because Satellite only works on non-living objects, while the Inspector counts as a living being. Then Ger — who was hiding right behind the Inspector — creates a ton of clones, which promptly start orbiting around JFK since he forgot to turn his power off. While JFK is left distracted and confused, the two heroes hide into the newly-formed tornado of clones by hitching a ride on one of them, and then launch a Combination Attack that almost leaves JFK out of commission.
  • Page 113. The Preacher first savagely beats Dex into unconsciousness, and then injures Dee when she tries to defend her brother. Big mistake: Dex wakes up, sneaks behind the Preacher in full Tranquil Fury, and promptly pulls a Mr. Compress by compressing the Preacher's arm off of his body.
  • Page 115. Thanks to "Twilight", Dee evolves her Ballyhoo, gaining the ability to make her captions solid. She promptly one-shots Flap by crushing him with a gigantic "FUCK YOU".
    • Too bad that Flap managed to survive the attack seemingly uninjured. Still, points for Dee for making Flapjack drop the silly act and start fighting seriously.
  • Page 122 shows that Five also Took a Level in Badass: her new technique, Full Script, allows her to effectively manipulate and rewind events inside its area of effect. According to her, she already used it to kill Flap roughly six thousand times, and now she's just replaying the battle over and over just to test the limits of her new ability.
  • Page 123 and 124 demonstrates that Courage and Swipes Took a Level in Badass. Not only have they become a romantic couple, but they learned how to combine their powers very effectively: Courage can turn into a powerful Mini-Mecha and cede control to Swipes, whose Ballyhoo evolved from a touch-based Enemy Scan into sight-based battle sense that can keep up with Pop's Frame By Frame. Keep in mind that the latter is powerful enough to allow Pop to casually dodge bullets.
