This review was published when the game was in vA0.41 (the game had a planned rework, but I don't think one was actually released)
Theme: Art and Shugo Chara!. Executed passably (the competitions have references to the manga/anime that seem authentic, though I haven't watched it, while super-competitions and a few upgrades reference real-world artists).
Gameplay and core mechanics: At first, you gain skill every second and reset it for Art points that boost skill gain. You can soon spend those on upgrades and Art machines that boost various gains. When you have enough Art points, you can reincarnate. There are a few more layers with more challenges and buyables.
Balancing and difficulty: Average difficulty and speed. No noticeable timewalls and many milestones are lenient in terms of when they unlock, plus not everything is automated by the end and you have to check several layers once in a while. The Competitions layer has several challenges that mostly rely on checking whether you've grinded enough (you don't have to do them in order), plus the game occasionally has you return to them for some achievements. The penultimate achievement unlocks an option to respect Art upgrades that could have been used for achievements, but there aren't any so it's useless.
Content on offer: Below average, you can reach the endgame in four hours and grinding for all achievements will take a little more (though having 13 Infinity Power also makes the game break down under inflation, and while normally I wouldn't complain as things may be unbalanced there, having achievements that practically require post-endgame grinding but then breaking down when you're there isn't right). Eight decently-sized layers and 38 achievements to get.
Polish and miscellaneous additions: The first layer says it uses points instead of skill like it should. A few typos.
This tree was a pleasant romp, though I think the art theme and some ideas could have been explored further with more content, plus the game breaking down when you try going after the last two achievements is something I can't overlook. Still, it's worth giving a shot.
VideoGame Could use a few more strokes (vA0.41)
