I'll respect your opinion up until the NC and AVGN comparisons (I find him interesting myself). That said, I find he comes across far more like Linkara in rage mode all the time, and he seriously needs to back it off a bit.

I agree with you one hundred percent. I know he can't really control his voice, but good God is it shrill and annoying. Also, his jokes almost always fall flat, and your remark about nitpicking is spot-on. He once declared an episode of South Park that made fun of baseball one of the 10 worst because he liked something they didn't. There was a bit more to it than that, but that was the main point he gave against it.
Come on, people. Step up your standards.

I saw a handful of his videos ten years ago and came to the same conclusion. When the AVGN freaked out over shitty games, we knew that James Rolfe didn't really feel that way in real life; in TV Trash, you get the sense that Chris gets unreasonably angry over bad TV shows. Out of curiosity, I watched one of his recent videos to see if he improved... and he hasn't gotten any better after a whole decade. But at least his camera quality is better.
I'm not going to criticize his voice, though. He said that he can't control it, and I believe him.

Annoying, rarely makes any good points (mostly just mindless nitpicking without making a valid criticism) and a terrible actor. The Rowdy Reviewer is someone nobody should have to sit through, unless they want to be begging to have their ear drums removed. Pretty much the entire review consist of making stupid faces, making sounds far more annoying than any normal human can make, and making plain unfunny jokes.
