It's the mark of a great show where either you can watch it as an adult or that you can rewatch it when you're older and appreciate it just as much, if not more. In either case, the original troper's right; Recess fits.

Good Back Then, Even Better Now!
When I began watching this show I was the same age as the main cast and watching it again now makes me realise two things: 1) I still don't have as much swag as these guys do and I probably never will and 2) Nostalgia filter aside this show is still really good. It turns out that Disney's Recess wasn't just a fun little kids' show but actually contained a series of social metaphors and clever jokes that went right over my little nine-year-old head.
Recess was a good show then and now you'll probably think it's even better!
