Hitsugaya centric, so obviously this will largely turn off a lot of people, but where this story shines is the character interactions and relevant developments, which luckily also extends to some of the seemingly forgotten cast members at points. The plot is no slouch either, but watching these characters interact with each other in this fic is something to behold. Some of the scenes are the usual scenarios you'd see, but then come the scenes that really should be canon, no joke, such as the conversation between Urahara and Hitsugaya that centered around the man's nature. The quirkiness of the characters is still there, but there's something deeper too. Most chilling of all is the way Ichimaru and Aizen interact with each other. Your Mileage May Vary on this though.
