Decent But Nothing Special

The animation and character designs are fine but unremarkable and very much blend in with various other modern Thin-Line Animation cartoons, and at times feel too derivate of previous shows with facial expressions and such. Likewise, the characters are fine but other than Kiff, Berry, and maybe Helen, most feel poorly defined, especially the former two's many classmates.

The show is overall very comedic and episodic, with low stakes, and generally adheres to Rule of Funny. That's not a bad thing per se, as most of the episodes are decently entertaining and the show never feels like it is pandering or talking down to its audience but at the same time...yeah, this is very much a kid's show, meaning it doesn't have any real depth and nuance to it and usually just delivers basic morals like "Don't lie" or "Don't skip school". When they indulge in musical numbers, they are good and Kiff has a good singing voice, but again, nothing that will be stuck in your head.

Ultimately, it results in a show that is good for kids, and older animation fans might get something on the first watch but they probably won't be invested enough to care and watch any episodes a second time.

Not every animated show needs to be deep or tackle complex subject matters but Kiff would need to, at the very least, beef up its lore or beef up the comedy, and flesh out the characters more if it wants to be more than So Okay, It's Average.
