I'm actually Italian, and in my country Maneskin are very popular. However, I absolutely dislike them. Maybe it's because I am a fan of industrial, neofolk, black metal, symphonic metal and darkwave, or maybe due to political reasons, but either way I cannot appreciate them. At all.
I see Maneskin's "rock" as being nothing special, a pale imitation of 80s glam rock (which I'm honestly not a fan of) without anything to stand out. Their looks are gender fluid, a fashion which I absolutely disagree with and I think serves as propaganda to create. Beneath their rebellious image, they're a product created by the elite who own almost all the media, and are perfectly subservient to them. They promoted gender fluidity, hate for European culture, even referred to the people who resist the totalitarian social credit system known as Green Pass as "terrapiattisti" (Italian slang for someone who believes in conspiracy theory). Maneskin are exactly that: propaganda for the Great Reset.
Italy has really underrated bands such as Kirlian Camera or IANVA, who would really have deserved the victory at Sanremo and Eurovision. But alas, mainstream music in Italy is globalized crap.
