Boyfriend of the Dead tells the story of N, a zombie, who meets Alex, a spoiled survivor.
At first glance at this web comic, I was thinking it would simply be a clone of Warm Bodies. Zombie meets girl, zombie loves girl, his feelings for the girl start to turn him human. Thankfully, I was wrong. For one thing, there is no sign of of N becoming human again and remains a zombie. He also doesn't even fall in love with Alex at the start. He's simply just a picky eater who's waiting to see if Alex is the perfect meal for him. He just so happens to develop feelings for her in the process.
Alex herself is also an interesting character, playing something a bratty girl who gets what she wants and can be a bit psychotic at times. She still has plenty of entertaining moments in the story.
Overall, it's an enjoyable little comedy strip and it gets my vote.
