No bastard1, isn't being a dick. There really are more bad points than good ones.
I don't see Riddler's obnoxiousness being a bad point. You're suppose to want to punch him. All the other characters played the same as Batman(but less) anyway, so I don't really miss them.
As for Batmobile sections...a mixed bag, but not pure hell like you described.
As for the lackluster challenge maps...for one easy payment of $39.99 for the season pass, you'll get plenty of challenge maps, and dlc costumes!...eventually? Hopefully? Maybe? Maybe...
The Batmobile would have been fine... In moderation. Instead just about every other story mission is "jump in the Batmoblie, shoot the power wench, reverse". The tank battles are obnoxious and badly designed, there are far, FAAAR too many of them and they lack any sense of progression until finished.
Totally disagree about the Arkham Knight, but his real problem lies in being a terrible adaptation of the character he's supposed to be.

Eeh actually I think it was in moderation. If you 100% it, yeah, there's a lot of godforsaken tank battles, just ungodly amounts of tanks. But exclude side missions and just the main story?...I don't think so? There's the area at the beginning of the game and then near the end that require batmobile. So thats not even half the story.
You don't even have to drive the damn thing to get around, Batman can pretty much fly. As for Arkham Knight, I was bummed when he turned to be exactly who everyone guessed he was. Whiny bitch indeed.
Bastard1 seems to be one huge Arkham fanboy. Dude gave me shit in my review of the series, says that "hindsight" will get to me. Dude's a bit of a dickhead.
It's implied, through my miniscule verbiage, that there is nothing I can offer you in the way of constructive criticism. The only way this can be improved is to scrap it and do it over in a way that isn't suffused in knee-jerky, unintelligent, and, most of all, generic and BORING archetypal internet criticism that says nothing about you as an individual. Ergo, this review is as constructive as staring at a blank wall. You owe yourself better than this.
I do hope you realize that the comment right before yours wasn't by the same person who posted this review.

More bad than good.
The good: Great story, lots of atmosphere. In my opinion Scarecrow is an excellent Big Bad (If of the nonaction variety). Combat is fun with lots of new features (though I could go either way on fear takedowns. Makes things a bit too easy at times but damn if it aint fun to use).
The bad: The batmobile and all associated gameplay. Fuck it and fuck Riddler for making so many of his riddles batmobile-centric. Also the Arkham Knight is kind of a whiny bitch. Not saying he don't have something resembling a point but still. The Riddler sidequest is as obnoxious as it ever was even leaving out the Batmobile. I miss the maps from Asylum instead of tracking down Riddler's 50 bajillion randomly spawning goons. Lackluster challenge maps, most of which are batmobile-centric. I only ever played the predator challenges in the previous games and am disappointed that there's only 3 in this game, only for Batman, unlike in Origins and City where there were like 8 or 9 for each character.
Overall I give it 6/10. I guess it was okay on average but not worth replaying, or even keeping longer than my next visit to gamestop.
In closing I would just like to say fuck the batmobile.
