I'm not sure about it. Black has dropped in high level play, but that seems more like an evolution of metagame rather than this trope.
Since my edit got removed because it wasn't deemed applicable for YMMV (which I guess nakes sense), where do you think I should put it?

The Subbing vs. Dubbing entry really feels forced and unnecessary. One player said they hated the dub, big deal. People play with preference and it isn't a big deal at all. The entry feels like it is shoehorned in from another page.

Should we lock the Tier Induced Scrappy entry on this page? The game is new and the tier lists are changing all the time, so I've seen quite a few opinions differ from what's listed here (such as Vegeta not actually being a bad character when playable).

We can't lock a a specific trope. If you mean to add a note not to edit it without consensus, we CAN do that, but I don't know if it's necessary. Tier Induced Scrappy is an Audience Reaction trope. It's not troping what's in the game; it's troping how fans react to the game, or parts thereof.
Thus, even if tiers change, the best course of action is to either edit the entry (if the perception was short-lived) or amend the entry if the perception lost traction over time.
That being said, I haven't heard anyone disregarding Vegeta's ability in quite a while, but most commentators I've seen in tournaments still note that Vegeta is not a good comeback character.

That's what I meant - I didn't know the proper term so just said "locked". And I think making a note not to edit the Tier Induced Scrappy entry without consensus should work; I've also heard things about characters like Piccolo jumping around all over the tier list, since the game is too new to have developed concrete high/low tiers.
Either way, though, I say give it time. Usually, notes are for when a trope is constantly disputed. Right now, there's been very little argument.
If you think SS Vegita should be moved to, say, Top Tier or something, then by all means. We can also put Piccolo in the "Both" category until he settles. That's what it's for.
Several things. Should We: - Add that "things are no longer the case" with Goku Black. Vegeta and Adult Gohan (this character is the most debatable) due to balance patches? While I'm not sure what happened to Goku Black, Vegeta's assist was nerfed and Gohan was nerfed as well (though tier-lists still have him very high).
- Add Kid Buu and Bardock to High-Tier. Tier-Lists have them as very high and they have a similar strategy as Adult Gohan (with better Assists too), Bardock in particular seems to have completely replaced Adult Gohan in most teams.
- Remove Beerus from Both to Low-Tier. Tier-Lists have him as very low with only decent at best assist
- Add Teen Gohan and perhaps the three Super Saiyan Blue characters to Low-Tier

- Android 21's English voice is considered grating for many players, as she has a very screeching voice when she gets excited. Her Japanese voice is better-received... except for her high-pitched scream when she takes heavy damage, which is uncomfortably realistic and lasts unnecessarily long.
Seeing as how a number of players have expressed this opinion, what's the basis for deleting it?

I just checked, and far as I can tell, SSGSS Goku is not considered Low Tier.
I haven't seen ANY tournament or forum where he's considered a Low Tier Scrappy.

I’d like to add Goku Black as a Crutch Character
He’s genuinely strong but the higher the play level, the more damning his weaknesses become (most notably, all of his mix-ups are blockable on reaction) which is why he was so common in early competitive scene but has dropped off so much
