Unintentionally Sympathetic: As much of a jerk as Biff is, and as much of a monster he has the potential of becoming, you kinda have to feel bad for his treatment in this movie. As a result of Doc and Marty's actions, he's been buried in the contents of a manure truck twice in a single week, with just enough time after the first crash to get his car (and his bill) from the shop before he ends up covered in shit again. And while the first time he deserved it, the second time he was merely (from his perspective) defending his property from that weird guy who came out of nowhere and ruined his life. When you see his interactions with his crotchety grandmother, who he lives with in 1955, it's easy to pity a man who is clearly very unhappy.
Of course, this movie also shows him sexually harassing a young Lorraine, among other things, which makes his continued misfortune feel like karma to many viewers who find it cathartic to see him get his comeuppance.
So I first wanted to cut the natter, but the example itself is really... weirdly okay with a guy who had just attempted rape and vehicular manslaughter? He wasn't "defending his property" at that point, he was trying to murder a guy who embarrassed him. And relishing in the act. The writeup makes it sound like he was desperately trying to protect what was his. Keep in mind at one point he prioritized hurting Marty over getting the Almanac back, after all.
... also feels unfair to the grandmother. We literally get three lines from her, where he insults her for asking where he's going (reasonable for a guardian) and also asks him to rub her feet which is... well probably not pleasant but the entry makes it out like she's abusive.
