The gist of the conversation is "even if it's not rape, it's sexual assault which should be covered under Tropes Are Flexible."
Keep in mind I don't think Joker raped her. But I'm the one who actually suggested that it still counts because he did unambiguously commit sexual assault. And going in to define the definition of rape is a whole big can of worms this site really shouldn't go in to discuss.

In the comic the Joker does not rape Barbra and this is confirmed by Alan Moore. In the movie the line by the prostitutes did seem to imply a rape and given the fact that Brian Azzalero wrote it I would see why some may think that but Bruce Timm said that in the movie Joker did not rape her.
