I've got two issues bugging me right now.
1. Is the existence of the Silver Snow route a spoiler? On one hand, it's admittedly the only route not shown in marketing. On the other hand, it's the default variant of the Black Eagles path and you have to go through extra hoops to get to Crimson Flower, and its existence is bordering on It Was His Sled at this point.
2. The spelling of the villain group. Shouldn't it be "those who slither in the dark", no capitals? It's never capitalized in dialogue. Or should we just say first come first serve the same way we do US/UK spellings like color/colour?
Edited by infernape612Should we add the Defiant series of abilities under Awesome, but Impractical?
Hide / Show RepliesNever tested it, I assume those who go through Mercenary can get Vantage to use it better, at least it's not Wrath where it only works on enemy phase AND low health.
Get Out of Our Home.Is it okay to add,
Demonic Spiders: Thieves early on in Maddening difficulty, especially of the sword-using variety. They can double all but your fastest units, they have 1 more movement than any of your units, forests don't effect their movement, they're annoyingly evasive, and they all come with Pass, allowing them to walk past your front line and slaughter your squishy mages.
We probably shouldn't be referring to the Edelgard route as "the Black Eagles route." The BE have two routes, of which the "default" is the Church path, so referring to BE-Edelgard as simply "Black Eagles" is only going to result in confusion.
Okay, so there's this controversy that erupted when Byleth's voice actor confessed to a lot of stuff that was weighing on his conscience. This caused Nintendo to replace him. On the surface, a lot of people think it's related to a non-disclosure agreement... but that's obviously an inaccurate statement, since he made no real mention of that in the confession, so that viewpoint's just flat out idiotic. Now, should they have recast Byleth, and is the prior VA's treatment justified? Discuss. For the record, my viewpoint is "No on both counts. For point one, his lines were already finished. The actor should've been recast out of something that wasn't finished yet. For point two, The only reason he was recast was because of controversy. Controversy over his actions that he only committed because suicidal thoughts had been plaguing him for five years. By taking this course of action, it's put the problem right back at square one."
Because it's an unreleased work and most of the entries are speculation based on a couple of trailers, while the works page is meant for the released product.
As the editing page says:
For unreleased works where all we have to go on is advertising and other supplemental materials, we have some detailed guidelines, which can be found at Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work.
If you have questions, please consult the Unreleased Work Speculation Cleanup thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15514631230A64268600
Edited by Arawn999I also personally find it a bit frustrating how heavyhanded the mods are being with this new policy, but I suppose they have their reasons. If you have any complaints, I suggest directing them to the thread.
