"Lana does refer to an infected as a zombie in Chapter 3 - only once, though."

I have noticed poor grammar, but since I never played the game, I don't know how to correct it.

I think "infected" is short-hand for "infected individual", terminology which you'll see tossed around depending on the Zombie Apocalypse. I'm pretty sure it means that Lana does use the word "zombie" to describe one of the infected, thus averting Not Using the "Z" Word. The grammar is alright.
