  • E = MC Hammer: The solution to the AcaDeca's geometry problem requires constructing two new points F and G, but Sunset and Twilight don't define these points or specify on the diagram where they're supposed to go. We can deduce from the context of the solution that F is a point on EB such that DF is parallel to AB, and G is the intersection of DB and AF. With that established, Twilight's solution is indeed valid. See the comments in this Derpibooru post for complete details.

E = MC Hammer is not a trivia trope, and if the math actually works out, may not even be an example. Would this fit better under Accidentally Accurate or Genius Bonus?

What seems to have happened was that the animators copied the problem and the solution out of a textbook, but they left out several steps from the solution. A math teacher probably wouldn't give full marks to the solution as written because it doesn't show enough work. I wanted to put this in Trivia because it's an explanation of a Freeze-Frame Bonus.
