• Episode 73 featured the Inner Senshi being abducted by Rubeus as they tried to protect Chibi-Usa. And Usagi is driven to horrified tears when it happens, blaming Chibi-Usa for it, because if Chibi-Usa hadn't stolen Usagi's brooch to use her Silver Crystal, she could've saved the girls. Here's the thing, though. At this point, we know how much Chibi-Usa annoys Usagi, but at this moment, Usagi is so utterly angry at Chibi-Usa, she would've started hitting her had Mamoru not intervened. And all Chibi-Usa does is close her eyes and wait for it to happen, leading one to to wonder how often has she been hit to get that reaction?
  • The same could be said for a similar moment that happens with Pluto. When Chibiusa brings everyone to the time door, she expects Pluto to be angry with her for breaking the rule. That's understandable. What isn't is when Chibiusa apologizes, Pluto raises her hand, and Chibiusa gets scared, closes her eyes, and ducks a little. When Pluto instead gently pats her head, she's surprised Pluto's not angry. It's one thing to fear Usagi, who's generally immature anyway. It's different to fear Pluto, who's not only very mature, but like a second mom to her. Take in the fact there's also an episode where Chibiusa believed her parents were glad she'd hurt herself, and you really have to wonder if there's something to Chibiusa's past besides loneliness.

This seems to go into straight-up bashing, since there's zero evidence of Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity physically abusing Chibi-Usa. One can say there's plenty of evidence to the CONTRARY, including how NQS almost died shielding her with her body during the Black Moon's attack on Crystal Tokyo. So yeah, removing it.
