The ending isn’t a Downer Ending; an Esoteric Happy Ending, maybe, but not a downer. Everyone is happy with their PSed pictures and feels confident; Wendy makes it a Bittersweet Ending at worst, because she realised her struggle was a "Shaggy Dog" Story.

I don’t think this episode portrays Wendy as particularly right, given that no-one feels inconfident after the photoshopping and it basically does wonders for everyone.
