I agree that it's a start, but I don't think it covers the "you got our attention" aspect; the PTB are typically portrayed as sitting on their ethereal asses. Maybe Divine Intervention?
They are mentioned as "powerful forces" while staying very vague about their nature, so that certainly points out Powers That Be existing within the story.
The attracting attention part is trickier... Divine Intervention implies the source of the intervention is undoubtedly divine, which is left very ambiguous here.
Is there a trope that covers all the metaphors and similes in "The Seeds of the Past"? Does Purple Prose fit?
Does anyone have a link to the actual preview clip mentioned in the currently-speculation page? All my searches are coming up empty.
Hide / Show RepliesSaw that earlier, but it doesn't really support the "Yet Another Christmas Carol" entry, does it? What I'm expecting to see is something closer to "It's a Wonderful Plot", but that's also speculation.
Anyone has an idea what trope can correspond to the fact that Snowfall Frost attempting to cast the spell attracted the attention of powerful forces, as Applejack (sorry, the first spirit) told her? Neither Magic Is a Monster Magnet, Supernatural Sensitivity or Weirdness Magnet seem to fit.
