Does this only apply to villains, or to all characters? The trope description says it's villains-only, but the Laconic description doesn't include that, and more than one of the quotes on the Quotes Page reference scenes where heroic characters are Not Quite Dead.
And if it refers to everyone, how is it distinct from other, more specific tropes like No One Could Survive That!? Given how many not-really-dead tropes we've got, this comes across as a bit of a catch-all category, and it's hard to see what factors distinguish it from all the other ones.
