Pulled:

  • Adult Child: Izumi, probably.
    • Her dad is a better example.

Adult Child has been renamed to One of the Kids. In order for this to be an example of the trope, the character's childishness has to be from or demonstrated by interacting with children. This example can be added back with context relevant to the trope if it fits.

Well Izumi does interact with Inami (who, in comparison to the 28 year old Izumi, is a kid) and she acts quite child-like with her, asking Inami if Souta's girlfriend (Izumi didn't realize that said girlfriend was Inami and was standing right in front of her) would take care of her along with her brother Souta continuing to take care of her.

Not to mention her general interactions with Souta (who is also a kid compared to her) make him have to be the Little Big Brother to her. Plus there are her interactions with her younger sisters at times at well. Plus it's not likely a coincidence that she's reminiscent of a baby when she's crawling around on the ground all the time due to her feebleness and she's quite helpless like a baby (also due to feebleness). She has the Tall, Dark, and Bishoujo aspects of aloofness, darkness, and prettiness, but she's still a pretty good example of this trope in action.

Any of Kozue's drunken interactions with Souta have her acting very childish as well.

Can we get a source on Aoi being 20? It doesn't make sense with what's been going on in the anime, and I took a gander at the Japanese wiki entry for Working, which implies she's actually a middle schooler if anything.

All the scantalated manga I've seen doesn't imply anything either.

Alrighty, when I have some more time later, or if someone else does before me, I'll remove the references to it. I did see that she's implied to be middle school age on Japanese wikipedia, but I can't independently verify that without combing through all the untranslated volumes, and I have no interest in doing that for a piece of trivia.

Aoi doesn't look or act like she's in her twenties, and I suspect she's not even 16 yet. She might be dodgy about her age since 15-year-olds are not allowed to do work without consent of their parents. And then of course there's the deal with her older brother, who is 16.
