The deviations are minor from what I've seen, and most changes that have been made can be labeled under "Adaptation Tropes" as they are. Personally, I dont think it's rquired.
This is the greatest signature ever. Gaze upon its glory. As King Nine has stated earlier, the amount of spoilers currently listed is too much. Which is why I propose we unspoiled all non-Volume 1 spoilers. Especially anything that is covered within the first two or three episodes in the anime. I am currently working on this task as well as fixing any misplaced tropes on the page, and I just need the go-ahead before this is a massive change.
This is the greatest signature ever. Gaze upon its glory.I'm seeing a huge amount of wholly spoilered-out examples here. Do we want to consider making a "Beware spoilers below" line at the top of the page? Otherwise we really ought to dial the spoiler tagging back because it's a little ridiculous at this point.
The "internalized Categorism" trope seems out of place here. 1) It's been shown repeatedly that a significant portion of the carnivore community -do- give into their desire to eat the flesh of fellow sapient beings. Legosi himself feels strongly tempted and struggles for many chapters. 2) Louis' feelings stem largely from the fact that his health actually is on the frail side and, well, the first few years of his life he was a slave raised to be food. And I could go on. Yes, there is a bit of it going on, but mostly as background texture to a couple of characters, not (as of yet) a driving force.
Hide / Show RepliesFeel free to edit it if you want. I'll admit that Louis isn't the best example, but I absolutely think the trope fits. The first chunk of the manga is Legosi hating everything about himself that is carnivore because he has internalized the way society at large views them. He only begins to appreciate being a wolf when he realizes that it enables him to protect the ones he loves.
Juno's getting shades of it now too with her 'carnivores can never be as good as herbivores' ideas. Which, yes, is mainly in reference to Louis and Haru, but Juno's making it an 'us carnivores just aren't as decent as herbivores' thing. Come to think of it she was bullied for being a wolf when she first transferred to Cherryton.
Do what you want but I firmly believe it belongs here.
Should Beastars get an anime page? It seems to slightly dictate from the manga.
