* AdaptationDeviation: The second season rearranged certain chapters. Most notably is Legoshi's first fight with [[spoiler:Riz]]. In the manga, it happens right after [[spoiler:he consumes a larva and regrows his original fur]] while in the anime he [[spoiler:fights Riz before that]]. It was most likely done to give proper pacing for the anime within a given episode count as opposed to the manga which can run at its own pace.

* IMeantToDoThat: After Louis injures his leg, he has subbed Bill in to fill his role. When Legoshi and Bill nearly derail the Adler play by fighting and forcing Louis to step in, the next day Louis downplays it to the school newspaper, claiming they were planning on mixing up the play a little from the start.

* ArtisticLicensePhysics: After training with Gouhin, Legoshi finds out his jaw strength has gotten weaker when he tries to play tug-of-war with Bill. Supposedly carnivores play this game as a test of their biting strength, and try to take body strength out of the equation by both sitting cross-legged on the floor with the rope in their teeth. But realistically this would still give an advantage in pulling to the player with more body mass and strength, and if a player gets pulled over the line instead of getting the rope pulled out of their mouth, that would only show that they lost in body strength and would not demonstrate who had the stronger bite. The presence of fangs that can sink into the rope makes it even more likely that a player's body would fail before their mouth. The fact that Legoshi fails to bite into an apple afterward is a much more indicative sign of his weakness.

The presence of fangs that can sink into the rope rope, as well as the fact that carnivorous animals have much stronger jaws in proportion to the rest of their body compared to humans, makes it even more likely that a player's body would fail before their mouth. The fact that Legoshi fails to bite into an apple afterward is a much more indicative sign of his weakness.

** After Louis orders Legoshi to be the lookout while he helps Tem's replacement rehearse his lines, he says, "If I promised you to give you my leg, you'd drool and accept my proposal, wouldn't you?" [[spoiler:At the conclusion of the murder investigation arc, Louis lets Legoshi eat his foot to help him defeat Riz.]]
