"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmantropower, in case you came here to discuss my removal of your note.. The primary reason I removed it was not because I agree/disagree, the primary reason was because it's not funny and doesn't add anything to the article. Their goal was a drug-free society by 2000 and that verifiably didn't happen. To comment "It didn't work" is obviously right. Even if the curriculum had some positive effect, it didn't reach it's 2000-goal which is what this trope is about.
Renaming needed, no "trope" word should be used. How about Thing 2000 or Noun 2000
Hide / Show RepliesWhile already discussed, allow me to brainstorm some names: Thing 2000, Trinket 2000, Sequel 2000.
I have no issues with "Trope 2000" though, I think it's sufficiently clear.
Inspired by the recent edit that renames "Examples" to "Examples 2000", I'd like to add 2000 to all folder names. Film 2000, Stand Up Comedy 2000, Pinball 2000, Real Life 2000 and so on. :-)
Before I do that, please tell me if it's too much. I'll refrain from making such an edit if it is.
I think this trope should be renamed to Super Trope X Thousand and quit being named a dead horse trope.
