Maybe Type 3 could be sub-classified into 3A (liberal) and 3B (conservative) for clarification?

Those may be the most common kinds, but it doesn't really matter which direction the political bias is in, as long as it's taken to the extreme.

Should this be a strawman trope? Many examples are far from strawman descriptions of the media.
