If we must nuke all evidence there was ever a trope called The Libby, can we at least regain the Added Alliterative Appeal? How about Adorable Alpha Bitch?
Edited by DaibhidC Hide / Show RepliesThe problem is, adorable sounds more like "cute" than like "can be adored".
Actually a girl. And this is why tropes that have been well known as something for months and years now should NOT be renamed and doing such is a sign of TV Tropes' Jumping the Shark.
What about Affable Alpha Bitch - you also regain the f- sound and the b-sound in the process
Not an example. Anyone who is that disrespectful when asking for help is far from loveable. (See season 1 ep "Out of Mind, Out of Sight."
—Is she portrayed as a sympathetic character? That is the real measure of a Lovable Libby, whether she's played as an evil bitch (straight up Libby) or whether she's an Antivillain or sympathetic supporting character (Lovable Libby)
Hide / Show RepliesIf we renamed "The Libby" to "Alpha Bitch", shouldn't we rename this, too?
I've been here too long. Regretting choosing this screenname ten years ago.^^ Was the above example Cordelia Chase? My God, someone must have not watched past the first season.

I think this should be a sub-trope of Good is Not Nice, anyone else?
