Pulled this because it was attached to a real life example of Queen Mother. I don't know the work and t's not namespaced, so I don't know where to put it.
- Played on The Royal Canadian Air Farce (by John Morgan) with a constant Alcohol Hic, as a Deadpan Snarker foil to her more poised daughter.

Anyone familiar with Auntie Mame? Pulled this example, since it looks shoehorned, but put it here in case it's really a straight example that falls within Tropes Are Flexible:
- Averted, somewhat, in Patrick Dennis' Auntie Mame. Both Mame and Vera Charles sort of fit this trope, except that they're friendly, good-natured lushes. Well, Mame is friendly and good-natured; Vera is a bitchy diva.
Suprised the mom from 'I accuse my Parents' isn't on here...
Or Willow Schnee, come to think of it?
