Is it just me, or does this page come off really complainy?

I mean, stuff like Unintentionally Sympathetic and Designated Hero attract a lot of complaining on their own, but this just feels like an excuse to whine about characters getting hurt, which comes across to me as infantile and unnecessary. Granted, there's a lot of pages on this wiki that suffer the same issue, but this one just launched last year, and it's already making me think, "For the love of God, get over it!"

I find two examples that are dubious.

  • Harry Potter:
    • It's heavily implied in latter books that Dolores Umbridge, the sadistic, smug teacher that some considered to be worse in some ways than Voldemort, was dragged into the woods and gang-raped by a group of centaurs. While the implication is subtle enough to fly over the heads of some readers, the ones who catch it often feel that it was too cruel a fate for Umbridge.

"Umbridge gets gang raped by Centaurs" is nothing more than a fan theory that have very little basis in the book itself and while Centaurs are brutish rapists in Greek Mythology, they are portrated as wise in the Potter series.

  • Game of Thrones:
    • Talisa Maegyr. Arguably one of the series scrappies. What happens to her? Well she gets stabbed in the belly repeatedly by a Frey during The Red Wedding while she's pregnant.

Talisa's death is played as a genuine tragedy in the show itself and as some not kamic comeuppance. This is more a Alas, Poor Scrappy situation.
