Any objections to expanding the intro?

  • Moving the general example from the start of the comic book section to the intro (and condensing it a bit). Saying "comics do this a lot" is accurate, but not specific enough to qualify as an example in its own right.
  • Mentioning the adaptation scenario - e.g. George R. R. Martin owns A Song of Ice and Fire, but doesn't get control over the Game of Thrones tv adaptation.

About the Runaways, Word of God is here. Vaughan killing Gert was just Doing It for the Art, as she was the character whose death would have the highest impact on the team. Nobody cares about rumors that "Some people believe", so I will remove that part.

Does EA's acquisition, takeover, and ultimate shutdown of many companies count as this? All their child companies forfeit their rights to EA, and EA milks them until they can no longer profit off of them.

Why isn't Dark Horse on this list. They're like Image Comics. They let the people who create comic books with them own the rights.
