If you ask me, in the modern seasons of Family Guy, both Lois AND Peter are bad parents. It used to play this straight, but now it's Subverted and/or Zig-Zagged. Which would be fine, if it didn't fall back on tacky, tasteless and generally unfunny attempts at "Dark Humor".
