This trope isn't just about crossdressing, but specifically about a man crossdressing specifically at the instigation/encouragement of females in his life. I deleted the following because they don't seem to have that "girls egging him on" aspect:

Film

  • In Bringing Up Baby David (Cary Grant) has to get back to New York City, but Susan (Katherine Hepburn) has taken all his clothes. He's unable to find men's clothes so he dresses in one of her dressing gowns.

Literature

  • The central plot of Boy 2 Girl. (Seems to be at instigation of boys))

Western Animation

  • Sokka has to wear a dress when he's learning to be a Kyoshi warrior. He gets mistaken for a girl a couple of times, but at least the experience mostly rids him of his sexist streak.
  • In the House of Mouse short, Donald Duck and Mickey have to dress up in drag to recreate a photo op...It Makes Sense in Context. Don's reluctant, but Mickey somehow drags him into it, with some help from a Gilligan Cut
  • In The Little Rascals episode "Just Desserts", Darla falls ill just before the baking contest, so Alfalfa has to pose as Darla, despite not resembling her at all.
