Um....Hey guys it is not common for a shy girl IRL to pose with her arms behind her back. It's common for a shy girl to pose with her hands and arms in front. When someone feels scared, uncomfortable, or insecure they tend to keep their bodies closed, having one's arms behind their back suggests openness and comfort. Where did you get that information, guys? Have you ever seen shy people in real life?

>The common form is to hold her arms behind her back (which by itself is a common pose for shy girls, and it's the key here to making her not look too forthcoming)
An example of what Cute Zombie Doll is saying is "looks before she leaps" purple Num Nums in "The Wrong Stuff". tempted to call this Bashful Pose or something
The yellow tomboy Pipsqueak is adjacent for a good contrast. Nums has her arms closed and toes pointed inward. Pips has her arms opened and toes pointed outward.
I think Shy Girl Pose could be a good name for it. Certainly nothing coy/flirting about it. It does express nervousness/insecurity which could have something to do with romantic attraction.
Prior to the Front Hand Clasp Nums does go "wow" doing a Hands On Cheeks pose of astonishment here (not sure if we have trope for this) while Pips isnt afraid to be more overt with complimenting Chunk in his new astronaut uniform ("lookin good Chunk")
We should contrast Nums doing the handclasp turning her.body away from Chunk while turning her head toward him in the closeup tothe wider shot which follows where she turns her body to face him too
A third idea (which i could not find a picture example for) is when a girl does the opposite of Nums' twist: keeping her body rotated toward a boy as she turns her heae away from him.
Of course after both looking shocked and a cutaway, both Nums and Pips adopts a similar pose later once it becomes clear that Squiggles wants Chunk to test the Hamster Cannon 3000. Contrast to almost want to call it a Pleading Pose but that is a larger umbrella which Prayer Pose w
How common is it for a girl giving this pose to be holding a weapon (including improvised) behind her back.
Wouldn't it be funny if we used the picture of Saul Goodman doing this pose for the trope image?
