Removed this:

  • Continuity Snarl: In "Platonish", Barney mentions that Marshall and Robin are the only platonic relationship in the group. But somehow he fails to mention that his and/or Ted’s relationship with Lily are also platonic.

I don't think there's a continuity problem there. Marshall and Robin are platonic because there is no lust there at all, certainly not from Marshall to Robin. However, Barney lusts for Lily because he's Barney and probably assumes Ted does as well, so I think that's why he doesn't consider them platonic relationships.

Continuity Snarl doesn't seem to be the right trope... it just seems like a borderline nonsensical thing to say. Ted and Lily are as platonic as they get, but it could be that Barney's remembering that Ted thought he made out with Lily the night they met.

But that's meeting him more than halfway.
