Hiya. I just joined the sight because, after watching this movie, I had a "bilingual bonus" to add that wasn't on here and few other living people could add. In the process of adding that, I changed all non-quoted mentions of the "Ree" to "Arikara," since I think the neutral tone of trope entries should defer to the modern accepted term for real ethnic groups, rather than the (vaguely racist) terms used to describe them in period films. Since that didn't really change the fundamental thrust of any of the tropes, I felt like it was hopefully pretty noncontroversial as a change. If this was an overstep without starting a discussion first, or if I accidentally changed a quote because the edit clock got me panicky, my apologies.

Do we have a trope like Riding Horse Off Cliff or Tree Breaks Fall ? I remember that scene in this film. Same thing haplened to the TMNT at the end of Usagi Yojimbo / start of Osoroshi no Tabi.

Fitzgerald telling Glass to blink for yes. That really wasn't a choice at all. Is there a trope for that?

Might want to ask in the Trope Finder.
